Why would you want to go to another teams practice squad?  You've been here 3 years, you know the playbook, etc.  

 

He can sign with any team at any time, but now that he's on a practice squad they have to give him 3 game checks even if you cut him or don't use him.  And after that they still have to expose him to waivers etc.
