ProcessTruster Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 that punt was 70 yds in the air from scrimmage (75+ from where he hit it-- do I have that right?) . I've been watching the NFL for a very long time, don't thing I've ever seen that before. Yeah he was going from left to right but no wind, right? Amazing. Screw the coffin kick ability. Think we found our punter? 11 6 1 Quote
1ManRaid Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 From his own 8 to the opposing 14 I'm told, so 78 air yards. 1 1 1 Quote
Beast Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) Since we probably won't punt this year, we should trade him for a 1st. Let a team that will need a punter, like the Patriots, trade for him. Edited August 14, 2022 by Beast 1 17 1 Quote
Chandler#81 Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Simply amazing. Perfect holds for critical PKs and That LEG! 5 1 Quote

Before the draft, there was a thread where people argued we should use a 2nd or 3rd on him 😅 Thankfully us fans aren't running the show. But hey, maybe some GM out there spends too much time on message boards too! We're not going to punt anyway, so let's get a 1st or 2nd out of it! 1 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Matt has commented every time I hear him about playing in front of so many fans. He stayed calm and did great his first game. Way to go Matt. You ain't seen nothing yet! 2 Quote
0017 Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 (edited) It looked effortless too! Just amazing! I’ve never wanted to watch a game just to see a punter, but I did today 😂 Edited August 14, 2022 by Dr. Football 1 Quote

Since1981 Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Remember when Brian Morman was THE freakin game highlight? Sure is nice to laugh at a crazy good punt but not actually care one bit!!! 6 Quote
Jumpsuit Jim Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 A field flipper is what the Bills team needs. Once they cross the 50, they are either going for it or letting Bass swing his big one. A high hang time short distance Roby isn’t needed on this team. 1 1 1 Quote
Bruffalo Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Awesome leg. With a little bit more refinement those monster kicks are going to be even more effective. Great start from the rookie. 1 1 Quote
K D Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Looked so effortless that I thought he probably didn't get ahold of it but it was a perfect spiral and it just kept going and going like a long fly ball in baseball that keeps carrying and becomes a HR. The returner had no idea what to do because it just kept carrying. A lot of punters (Haack) would try to put more into it being pinned so far deep in their own zone and a lot of those times those end up being shanks. Today's punt from the Punt God was just very smooth and under control. Very impressive 1 1 Quote
Lost Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 You guys remember when Brian Moorman was our team MVP for like 5 years? 6 1 1 1 Quote
TailgateChef Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Seeing it live, it actually seemed to defy physics. It moved so fast off his leg, when next you caught sight of it was when it sailed above your head after traveling 30 yards. It looked like a golf ball driven by Bryson DeChambeau. 1 1 Quote
John from Riverside Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Honestly they should just release hack give him a chance to catch on with another team 7 3 Quote
Mattymafia Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Didnt the bills cut Haush when before the cut day so he could find a new team? I see the same thing happening to Haack Quote
