All_Pro_Bills
Why is this thread still open? Nobody stole any nuclear secrets. The Post story was a lie. As was likely the reference to informed sources. But what else is new? If there is a moderator here it should be shut because its misinformation.

They just waited 18 months to retrieve them. And despite it being 5 days since the raid, they're waiting for another few months to release the news that they got him! Happy to update the title of this thread as soon as you provide proof there were no nuclear documents at Trumps country club.
ChiGoose
Not only did one of Trump’s lawyers sign a statement to the DoJ falsely stating that they turned everything over, but surveillance videos show people taking boxes in and out of the locker after they had been in contact with the DoJ https://www.nytimes.com/2022/08/13/us/politics/trump-classified-material-fbi.html

ChiGoose
Ok, so I think it’s important to take this with a large amount of skepticism, but if this is true, Trump should spend the rest of his days in jail. Newsweek is claiming that some of the documents at Mar a Lago included the payroll for some of our spies: https://www.newsweek.com/exclusive-trump-raid-documents-could-reveal-intel-sources-us-payroll-1733230 I have a hard time believing this is true because it would be incredibly stupid. But if it his, Trump’s even dumber than I thought.
Doc Brown
Guys. Just use common sense. Why in the world would a person risk being behind bars the rest of his life for not returning classified documents? Was a full out raid really necessary? This whole thing just seems like an overzealous DOJ and FBI that will only continue to fuel populism as people become more and more skeptical of our government institutions.

Money and/or bragging. 2. Trump’s team originally refused to cooperate with the DoJ and then when they finally did, they lied about what they provided. At that point, anything other than a search of the estate would leave a lot of questions about what was still out there.

At this stage, the big question is why he had the documents. That will likely play a large role into whether or not he will be charged. the mental gymnastics of not charging someone who had more than 200 times more illegal info is very funny to me. Not to mention the fact that as a president he could have de classified these documents which Hillary couldn’t. feds knew they had nothing so they leak they were looking for nuclear secrets to make him look guilty and justify their search to the general public and rubes like you. It’s wild to see

All these investigations that seem to go towards one party while the other gets off. It undermines the confidence in the system.

Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.) ======================================================================================================== As Communist International General Secretary Georgi Dimitroff told the Seventh World Congress of the Comintern in 1935: “Comrades, you remember the ancient tale of the capture of Troy. Troy was inaccessible to the armies attacking her, thanks to her impregnable walls. And the attacking army, after suffering many sacrifices, was unable to achieve victory until, with the aid of the famous Trojan horse, it managed to penetrate to the very heart of the enemy’s camp.” Edited August 14, 2022 by Albwan
