SirAndrew Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Barkley certainly doesn’t have much arm strength, but the guy really seems to understand the game. 2 3 Quote
muppy Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 if the Bills do win this game Yes I'll be pleased. Would I have been despaired if they lost? Nope. a Tie? coming back not a bad look the kick is GOOD 2 Quote

SirAndrew Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 We’re in trouble without Allen regardless. Barkley can play backup, we should see if anyone is dumb enough to give up something for Keenum. 1 Quote
Cotton Fitzsimmons Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 (edited) A magnificent hold by Araiza in crunch time! Edited August 13, 2022 by Cotton Fitzsimmons 3 2 Quote
Slippery Rubber Mats Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 keenum looked pretty bad. hopefully he's got something better than that Quote
Bangarang Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 (edited) I think we paid the wrong QB. Barkley should be making $258 mil Edited August 13, 2022 by Bangarang 1 3 Quote
Believer Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 (edited) Barkley showed once again he is a poised QB with good skills, who knows the playbook, the personnel, and how to win … Great decision by Beane to bring him back to Buffalo… Keenum will need a couple standout preseason halves to displace him… Edited August 14, 2022 by Believer 1 1 Quote
AmishRifle Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Barkley definitely showed a better understanding of the offense than Keenum today. It almost seemed like Case was nervous to start the game and it just spiraled out of control for him. Hopefully he bounces back next game and shows some better timing and production. Quote

Keenum actually started out pretty well when we were running with Moss and Cook. When we switched to Duke Johnson things kind of ground to a halt and got out of rhythm. I wonder if we might have been trying to work through the running game with Case and it wasn't as much about running the offense. Quote
Boatdrinks Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Barkley did fine, but he knows this offense and it was the second half of PS game one. While no good team can afford to be without their starter for very long, I’d still prefer Keemun in a game that mattered. Barkley is a great guy to have in the room and all that, but too slow and weak armed at regular season game speed. Quote

Warcodered Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 So the Bills win 27-24....why does that sound so familiar? https://www.google.com/search?q=bills+vs+colts+2021&oq=Bills+vs+colts+2021&aqs=edge.0.0i131i433i512j0i22i30l7j69i64.7447j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#sie=m;/g/11j67_xt9m;6;/m/059yj;dt;fp;1;;; 1 Quote
