Barkley certainly doesn’t have much arm strength, but the guy really seems to understand the game.

What little arm strength he seems to have seems to be more than what Keenum offers.

Barkley showed once again he is a poised QB with good skills, who knows the playbook, the personnel, and how to win … Great decision by Beane to bring him back to Buffalo… Keenum will need a couple standout preseason halves to displace him…

Barkley definitely showed a better understanding of the offense than Keenum today. It almost seemed like Case was nervous to start the game and it just spiraled out of control for him.  Hopefully he bounces back next game and shows some better timing and production.

Keenum actually started out pretty well when we were running with Moss and Cook. When we switched to Duke Johnson things kind of ground to a halt and got out of rhythm. I wonder if we might have been trying to work through the running game with Case and it wasn't as much about running the offense.

Barkley did fine, but he knows this offense and it was the second half of PS game one. While no good team can afford to be without their starter for very long, I’d still prefer Keemun in a game that mattered. Barkley is a great guy to have in the room and all that, but too slow and weak armed at regular season game speed.

Keenum has always choked when it mattered. He’s washed.

He looked like Billy Joe Hobart out there today. “Sorry coach, I didn’t look at the playbook.”
