So RB Antonio Williams is in camp with the Giants.

yup. Schoen poached him from us like hours after he became Giants GM— seriously.

for all of us A Dub fanboys, I was really

disappointed that we never gave him a chance here after he looked so good in that Miami game.

Different team, but still Jersey..

He was going to be their starting right tackle. Seems like he's done for awhile now. Pretty big bust draft pick for them.

Jets Rumors: Mekhi Becton Feared to Be Out for 2022 Season with Knee Injury

Lol. Forreal.  I had no clue TyGod was on the Gmen

I don't really get it. He certainly can't run like he used to which makes him pretty much the most boring QB in the league. Stats support it as well, he's been awful since Buffalo. Feels like they're prepping for a tank if Jones doesn't light it up out of the gate. What better guy to show up every week and lose on his way to a 3-14 season than Tyrod Taylor in 2022?

Looks like he is out cold.

Ah . . . "Center Jon Feliciano threw the first punch at linebacker Cam Brown after he was dragged out of a scrum by Brown. Feliciano looked to be playing dead and joking around but got to his feet and swung."

As someone who lives in Giants/Jets land there has been reports with the media that Taylor is playing better than Jones in practice. Obviously that means nothing as both will get preseason action to win the job. Don't be surprised if Taylor wins it. If Jones doesn't prove to be "the guy" going into his 4th year then the Giants will definitely be looking at QB's in next year's draft. How could they not.

Tyrod is the new Fitz. He'll make your developmental QB look like trash, win the starting job so you can't make an accurate judgement, then get hurt so your young QB gets thrown into the fire unexpectedly.

Betting the under on the Giants (7.5) wins this season has been one of my favorite things to bet.

Just not a fan of Daboll, and many other parts on that team.

Daboll is going to find out that going from Allen to Jones/Taylor will be a painful process and a long year for big blue.

Poor Jones.

He's going to take a beating behind that joke of an oline in dabolls deep ball offense.

Tyrod may give them more of a chance because he's more mobile

Well.... first off, I don't think Kafka moved from KC to be Daboll's "dingleberry", so we'll see what the offense looks like.  Too many cooks....

I've heard there are designed runs for Jones, though, so he may take a beating anyway.

Except he's more like the Anti-Fitz.

Fitz's pattern was to begin the season as the backup behind a starter, the starter is injured or suspended and Fitz takes over and looks great!  Then Fitz wins the starting job and looks like trash.

Taylor is more like the anti-Fitz.  His pattern is to be given the position as the starter ( not necessarily win it ), get injured and/or look like trash, and lose the job.

He was annointed as the starter in Cleveland coming in - no competition (per Hue J.)  TT got injured in Game 3, Baker won and never looked back.

He went to the Chargers as Rivers backup but Rivers is tough as old boot leather and never comes out.  Next season, was given job as starter over Herbert, got his lung punctured during a painkiller injection week 2, Herbert started and never looked back.

He went to Houston to start in lieu of Watson.  He started the first game, injured his hamstring in the 2nd and was replaced by Davis Mills. This time he got his starting job back when he came off IR in week 9, only to lose it again when he was benched after 4 games.

I think there's a "Tyrod Cycle" like the "Fitzpatrick Cycle", but it's not the same.

Deja vu. The incumbent QB who was overdrafted and has struggled to make an impact is getting beat out by Tyrod Taylor in training camp with a new coaching staff making the decision. In two years the Giants will draft Peter Nathanman and he will become a fan favorite in the offseason.

The Giants, on the other hand, have become a Stevenson/Bullough or Fewell/Gailey level team (though I think they've legit had more talent)

The '85 Bills (when both Stephenson and Bullough coached) were actually quite talented, despite the 2-14 record:

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/1985_roster.htm

Joe Cribbs

Greg Bell

Andre Reed

Jerry Butler

Ken Jones

Jim Ritcher

Will Grant

Tim Vogler

Joe Devlin

Bruce Smith

Fred Smerlas

Ben Williams

Jim Haslet

Lucious Sanford

Steve Freeman

Charles Romes

Derric Burroughs

Martin Bayless

Scott Norwood

At least eight of them could arguably start on the 2022 Bills.
