I think it looks kinda cool. Yes, not a stadium from the outside but why is that important? Someone posted earlier about how it seems there's more to do than just hanging out in parking lot. Something different is not always wrong. Plus it's a football stadium on the inside

So let me get this straight...Titans release new renderings of the stadium that was announced well after the Bills stadium?  Bills are slacking.

I disagree. I think it looks modern and fantastic.

Fyi they started talking about it this morning on WGR. I’m guessing they were reading this thread and are getting antsy as well. Lots of talk about the public domain of some businesses in southwestern and abbot. Lots of talk about it not being a lock yet because of possible political changes. Now I’ve got to go into work and won’t be able to listen but that was the first 20+ minutes of the show.

I don't see how political changes could impact it. Isn't it passed already in the NYS budget? Wouldn't the Bills have cause for damages if suddenly NY pulls out of an agreement because "political changes"?

The agreement is signed and they are finalizing the community agreement. My general guess is the sitting governor and crew asked for nothing to be announced until after so it doesnt bring up attention during the campaign. The majority of the state funds are actually just casino repayment from the Seneca's.

I wonder if the whole stadium project could get derailed? Between the Community Impact agreement and some politicians like Lee Zeldin opposing using public money.

The press in the eastern half of the state has been relentless in bashing the deal.  I'm not going to be comfortable until construction begins.  Look at today's Bills coverage on the main page, the NY Post is at it again, bashing the deal and the governor.  Last week in a column in the Albany Times Union a columnist threw in another dig against the deal.  Face it, it's WNY against the rest of the state when it comes to the new stadium.  Personally, I'm getting pretty tired reading all the eastern NY bashing of the deal

This is sort of ominous, IMO. Shouldn't we be having celebratory releases of renderings and excitement about the new stadium by now?

This is how things seem to work in NY: there's an agreement, but it's not official until the agreement is agreed upon, then agreed upon again, then more negotiations, then an agreement.

IMO silence is not good, but maybe there is a very good reason why it's practically like a stadium deal was never announced.

That’s an interesting theory but wouldn’t the stadium boost her popularity in WNY? You know, showing some good news for a change? Again, not living there anymore I don’t know what the general sentiment is.

Probably to her detriment in the rest of the state though. Not to mention the WNY folks who hate any money spent on sports.
