YoloinOhio Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 (edited) 5th in our division prediction series already covered: AFC South, AFC West, NFC South, NFC North Im going with the Eagles. I think they have the best roster and 2nd best QB.Cowboys have the best QB but mike McCarthy is their downfall and their WR situation is murky. Edited August 7, 2022 by YoloinOhio Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 (edited) I went with Dallas because they have the best QB. I dont trust Hurts enough to win the division. I agree with Yolo though. Philadelphia has a better roster and McCarthy is terrible. Dallas has some nice e pieces on defense but their great o-line is no more. Dak is good enough to go 10-7 and that will probably be enough for the NFC East. Giants and Washington will be better but I cant see either team getting to 8 wins. Jumpsuit Jim Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 The infamous “Somebody HAS to win this” division. Even with that, “none of the above” should be a choice. Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 (edited) I've gotten a decent look at Hurts over the last two seasons. He is a poor man's Tyrod Taylor so far. Even though the rest of the team is looking decent I wholeheartedly expect the Eagles to be drafting a starter next off-season. I think Dallas wins by being average in possibly the worst division in the NFL. It brings me no pleasure to say that Edited August 7, 2022 by WhitewalkerInPhilly Quote
mushypeaches Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 based on talent, Dallas "should" win But good god, Mike McCarthy can't be trusted to coach his way out of a paper bag Philly as the least worst choice Quote
Taro Nimbus Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 I'll take the Giants. May surprise alot of people, especially in that division. 1 Quote

I top to bottom it is not a great division. I voted for Dallas, but would prefer Philadelphia - I just thinks Hurts is super inconsistent and is not really an NFL level QB. Dallas with McCarthy will lose a bunch of games they could win, but I feel similar about Hurts. If Washington or the Giants had anything on their rosters - I might step outside of the top 2 and take a shot, but when I look at those rosters - I literally gag. Quote
TBBills Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 (edited) All about Hurts, if he isn't good than Dallas will take it. Edited August 7, 2022 by TBBills Quote
machine gun kelly Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 (edited) Fly Eagles Fly. Dallas’ coach will screw it up even though they have the best QB. It’s not that I like them at all as their fans are annoying, but they have grit as does the QB. Now they have a real weapon at WR. Edited August 7, 2022 by machine gun kelly Quote

The only people the Giants are going to surprise are their fans who won't believe how bad they are. I'm going to the Giants home opener vs Carolina because the Bills don't play that Sunday & I expect to see a lot of sad fans. 1 Quote
billybrew1 Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 I don’t know but the eagles are going to make it tough for anyone to do t…. Quote
Don Otreply Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Philly, one might think Dallas, but their QB is a choker, and the HC is awful, and the owner is a running joke, the others teams in that division don’t stand a chance this year. Quote
HappyDays Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Dallas, no contest. Dak Prescott is by far the best QB in the division, and I don't mean that as a big compliment to him. I don't see enough non-QB talent on the other teams to make up that gap. Quote
BillsPride12 Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 I haven't paid much attention to Philly at all over the past couple years...is their roster outside of QB really that talented!? This is news to me lol Quote
JohnBonhamRocks Posted August 8, 2022 Posted August 8, 2022 Prescott might not be as good as some think, but he’s still easily the best NFCE QB. I voted Dallas. 2 Quote
NewEra Posted August 8, 2022 Posted August 8, 2022 Voted Dallas. Philly has a shot though. Skins and Giants have none Quote
