I was recently listening to a podcast where they were talking about NBA players not living long due to their size and cardiovascular health. One of the host then mentioned Bill Russell and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as a counter point. Little to no relevance but a little nugget.

 

RIP to a legendary player.

That was the last show of the series.The carrot  man is the guy that played Cyrano Jones in "the Trouble With Tribbles" episode.

I forgot how the series ended. Were they ever found in space? Was Dr. Smith ever convicted of those child molestation charges?

Never found. :(

Dr. Smith was clean, but Sulu from Star Trek was not. :(

Boston Celtics great Bill Russell, 11-time NBA champion, dies at 88

Bill Russell, the cornerstone of the Boston Celtics dynasty that won eight straight titles and 11 overall during his career, died Sunday. The Hall of Famer was 88.

 

Russell died "peacefully" with his wife, Jeannine, at his side, a statement posted on social media read. Arrangements for his memorial service will be announced soon, according to the statement.
