B-Man
Secret Service finds more than 100 records on Hunter Biden gun case that agency earlier said didn’t exist by Melissa Fine After several flip-flops, the United States Secret Service has finally revealed it is in possession of more than 100 records related to yet another Hunter Biden scandal — his alleged gun, which was reportedly ditched in a dumpster in Delaware. According to its website, Judicial Watch, led by Tom Fitton, “uses the open records or freedom of information laws and other tools to investigate and uncover misconduct by government officials and litigation to hold to account politicians and public officials who engage in corrupt activities.” https://www.bizpacreview.com/2022/12/04/secret-service-finds-more-than-100-records-on-hunter-biden-gun-case-that-agency-earlier-said-didnt-exist-1314335/
B-Man
What’s missing from the Twitter files: The truth about the FBI New York Post, by Miranda Devine Elon Musk half-delivered on his promise to tell all about Twitter’s censorship of The New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election. What was missing were details of specific warnings we know the FBI made to Twitter about a Russian “hack and leak operation” involving Hunter during their weekly meetings with top executives of the social media giant in the days and weeks before The Post published its exclusive bombshell. We know that FBI Supervisory Special Agent Elvis Chan testified Tuesday in a lawsuit against the Biden administration brought by Republican attorneys that he organized those weekly meetings with Twitter and Facebook in San Francisco for as many as seven Washington-based FBI agents in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election. https://nypost.com/2022/12/03/whats-missing-from-the-twitter-files-the-truth-about-the-fbi/

B-Man
Latest ‘Twitter Files’ show FBI repeatedly bullied executives over not reporting ‘state propaganda’ enough by Allie Griffin The FBI repeatedly grilled Twitter execs about state propaganda on the social media platform in the summer of 2020 — insisting that the company provide more information about safety enforcement, according to the latest Twitter Files release. The agency’s Foreign Influence Task Force — which deals with cyber threats — interrogated Twitter on its reporting about official state media actors’ use of the site, according to emails unearthed by independent journalist Matt Taibbi in what he dubbed the “Twitter Files Supplemental” Sunday night. San Francisco FBI agent Elvis Chan pressured former Twitter Trust and Safety chief Yoel Roth in July 2020 for more information about how they prevented bad actors from using the platform https://nypost.com/2022/12/18/latest-twitter-files-show-fbi-questioned-executives-over-users-spouting-state-propaganda/
B-Man
Former FBI investigators say it’s clear their colleagues weren’t played by their sources, but rather played along with them. “The bureau was not misled. The bureau received false information , knew it to be false, and still represented it as true for the purpose of the affidavits,” Biasello said. "That is a blatant criminal act.” He noted that in a December 2019 opinion, then-FISA Court Presiding Judge Rosemary Collyer reprimanded the FBI, while warning that other FISA warrants may be equally tainted and based on fraudulent information. “The frequency with which representations made by FBI personnel turned out to be unsupported or contradicted by information in their possession, and [the frequency] with which they withheld information detrimental to their case, calls into question whether information contained in other FBI applications is reliable,” wrote Collyer, who signed the initial warrant targeting Page. “In view of her comments, heads should roll,” Biasello said. https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2022/12/20/how_the_fbi_copied_parts_of_the_debunked_steele_dossier_directly_into_its_spy_requests_870182.html

BillsFanNC
This playbook seems vaguely familiar, doesn't it? From 2015: https://theintercept.com/2015/02/26/fbi-manufacture-plots-terrorism-isis-grave-threats/ As my colleague Andrew Fishman and I wrote last month — after the FBI manipulated a 20-year-old loner who lived with his parents into allegedly agreeing to join an FBI-created plot to attack the Capitol — these cases follow a very clear pattern: The known facts from this latest case seem to fit well within a now-familiar FBI pattern whereby the agency does not disrupt planned domestic terror attacks but rather creates them, then publicly praises itself for stopping its own plots. First, they target a Muslim: not due to any evidence of intent or capability to engage in terrorism, but rather for the “radical” political views he expresses. In most cases, the Muslim targeted by the FBI is a very young (late teens, early 20s), adrift, unemployed loner who has shown no signs of mastering basic life functions, let alone carrying out a serious terror attack, and has no known involvement with actual terrorist groups. They then find another Muslim who is highly motivated to help disrupt a “terror plot”: either because they’re being paid substantial sums of money by the FBI or because (as appears to be the case here) they are charged with some unrelated crime and are desperate to please the FBI in exchange for leniency (or both). The FBI then gives the informant a detailed attack plan, and sometimes even the money and other instruments to carry it out, and the informant then shares all of that with the target. Typically, the informant also induces, lures, cajoles, and persuades the target to agree to carry out the FBI-designed plot. In some instances where the target refuses to go along, they have their informant offer huge cash inducements to the impoverished target. Once they finally get the target to agree, the FBI swoops in at the last minute, arrests the target, issues a press release praising themselves for disrupting a dangerous attack (which it conceived of, funded, and recruited the operatives for), and the DOJ and federal judges send their target to prison for years or even decades (where they are kept in special GITMO-like units). Subservient U.S. courts uphold the charges by applying such a broad and permissive interpretation of “entrapment” that it could almost never be successfully invoked.

Perhaps one of the most important was that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) covered up the fact that armed citizens use their guns quite frequently to stop active shooter attacks. B-Man
Jim Jordan to chair 'Weaponization of Government' Select Committee Jan 9, 2023 This investigative panel will demand emails and correspondence between the Biden administration and big tech companies, and follows the massive revelations that came to light through the recent release of the Twitter Files. The 118th House of Representatives will see the formation of a new select committee, headed by Jim Jordan, to dig into the abuse of power and the Weaponization of Government. This investigative panel will demand emails and correspondence between the Biden administration and big tech companies, and follows the massive revelations that came to light through the recent release of the Twitter Files. Newly minted House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who was elected to Speaker after a hard-fought, contentious battle on the House floor last week as power and priority struggles played out in his own party, was asked to form the committee as part of the negotiations that brought him to power, Axios reports. Jordan was one of the 15 members of Congress who nominated McCarthy for Speaker last week, just as many in his party nominated and voted for him. "The probe into communications between tech giants and President Biden's aides will look for government pressure that could have resulted in censorship or harassment of conservatives — or squelching of debate on polarizing policies, including the CDC on COVID," Axios reports. If government personnel and agencies do not comply, subpoenas are likely to be issued, per a GOP source. The GOP is committed to digging into "the politicization of the FBI," which not only includes the work done to discredit accurate reporting from the New York Post in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election, but the allegations of Russian election interference in the lead-up to the 2016 election. The use of Biden's Department of Justice to go after parents who spoke out angrily at school board meetings will be investigated as well. Ohio's Jordan was instrumental in the discovery that the letter requesting a DOJ investigation into these parents, issued by the National School Boards Association, was actually requested to be written by Merrick Garland's DOJ in the first place. The head of the NSBA was then given a plum post in the administration. Biden's Covid czar Dr. Anthony Fauci will also be a focus of this new GOP investigation. The Twitter Files revealed that social media companies were pressured to toe the Democratic Party line on Covid and Covid treatments. https://www.axios.com/2023/01/01/house-gop-republicans-judiciary-subcommittee https://www.axios.com/2023/01/09/kevin-mccarthy-house-gop-big-tech-targets
