Main event was Randy Savage against Harley Race. I already knew how the matches were going to end, because they had been in Syracuse the night before, and the results were in the paper the next morning. My first event was June 2nd 1987 at the Aud. It was a TV taping where Honkey Tonk Man beat Ricky Steamboat for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Killer Kahn sprayed the Hogan in the face with the green mist during Jake's Snake Pit. I was young, and didn't think Hogan would be able to wrestle in the main event, but somehow he still, miraculously, was able to team with Koko B Ware in the Main Event to take on Kamala and the Honkey Tonk Man. The athleticism is real. Just like tv, movies, and plays. You could even say sports like ice dancing and gymnastics are scripted, as they’re repeating scripted routines they have practiced. Quote
