OldTimer1960 Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 (edited) Looking at some fairly recent offseason photos, Dion Dawkins looks like someone’s Grandpa visited practice. I understand that he might be very strong under that excess weight, but disappointing that the LT on a highly touted team looks so out of shape. ChevyVanMiller Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Tackles never looked ripped. The bottom line is that Dion grades out at one of the best at his position in the entire NFL. Schnow, what I mean? 2 Quote

If he has always looked like that, it is one thing, but if that is a bunch of new weight this off-season, it could be a problem. 1 Quote
Beast Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 How does that look any different than the past...with the exception of he has no shirt on? 2 Quote
1ManRaid Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Looks fine to me, especially when we're still well away from real action. They wouldn't be uploading the more "unflattering" photos of him if they were concerned at all about his condition, and I'm going to trust that our world class training staff know more about his shape than we do. transient Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Aside from the fact that, as everyone is pointing out, he looks no different than usual, these “fairly recent” photos were “week 1 of OTAs” according to the photo captions… the workouts aren’t even mandatory at that point… 1 1 Quote
gobills404 Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 (edited) A few years ago I remember seeing a photo/video where he didn’t have a shirt and I thought the exact same thing. I think it’s just how his body looks. Edited July 16, 2022 by gobills404 Quote

When he put the weight back on he was back to his usual self. Quote

So you’ve just admitted that you have no idea what he’s looked like in the past and yet you decided to start this thread anyways… 3 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 He must be looking normal or better for him, otherwise why is he modeling for the camera in some of these. I do wonder if these olinemen have to really put on weight (sometimes over muscle) to bulk up as much as they can? Quote
Big Turk Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 Offensive linemen aren't going to look good...they have to artificially eat tons of calories to pack on weight and the body isn't going to pack that on as muscle 3 Quote

Steptide Posted July 16, 2022 Posted July 16, 2022 I feel like we went through this exact same thing last off season Quote
