Didn't know Tarasenko's been out, but looks like he's back for tonight. Dangerous player. Wish we had a tighter defense, but I'll take the way the Sabres have been playing.

The Dallas goal that tied it at 2 shows how dangerous they are.  Holding them to 2 is terrific.

And it shows that they're still doing the same stuff wrong on defense.

I’ll be happy if they can at least just stay in the race. Don’t 💩 the bed down the stretch when the pressure is on and I’ll consider it a good step forward. But obviously it would be awesome if they grabbed a wildcard spot!

Interesting.  I was thinking the big move would be for a top blue liner, but Timo would be a star in this offense.  Hypothetically, I wonder who he would supplant on the top line and/or the power play?  Cozens on the first power play?  This would be a huge move.

No Samuelson tonight for the Sabres. That has usually spelled doom this season. Hopefully they can buck the trend tonight.

Hopefully scratched this game because it's a (good) West team on the road.

I'm a very casual hockey fan. I don't watch the sabres a ton but every time I do they look amazing. I don't understand how they are not one of the best teams in the league.

They said it was a lower body injury. The second period tonight may be one of the best the Sabres have played all season. At times it looked like the Harlem Globetrotters playing the Washington Generals. Hopefully, they can get the hay in the barn in the 3rd.

There was an 8 game losing streak earlier that really put them behind the 8-ball.

Yeah but he skating this morning so it might not be bad enough to keep him out for long.  But if they can play this well without him...
