Wait? You thought Tom Brady and Eric Wood look similar enough to be confused for each other in a photograph? I think we have sprinted past "bad with faces" and are firmly in the "have serious issues with my eye sight" territory. 

Also, I would have zero issues with Jim Kelly taking pictures with Tom Brady. Who cares.

Haha, it's all good. Yeah, I guess I'm old school. For example, they say Magic and Bird hated each other back in the day and would never socialize before the game. (But that didn't stop Magic from coming to the Garden for Bird's retirement ceremony). So in all seriousness I suppose it's ok they hugged, but I wouldn't want to publicize it, lol.

 

And re the bad with faces, I haven't seen too many pics of Wood to really recognize him, but I am seriously super bad at spotting people. I would be the first to admit that.

Yeah, I guess times have changed. I'm ok now...Jim appears so happy in that pic, and TB signed some items for his foundations. I hate to admit it, but I would have probably done the same if I were Jim. [And now that I compare the two pics of TB and Wood side by side on my computer, I can see a difference.]

Allen is the most talented QB the Bills have ever had. Kelly even admits that. If/when Allen wins a Super Bowl then he goes to #1 on the Bills QB list with Kelly at #2.

Even if he doesn't win a super bowl, I feel like the only record he wont pass Kelly in is the number of consecutive superbowls they have appeared in.

 

He's likely going to pass him in TD's (134 short right now).  He's been over 35 the past two years so that's only 4 years if he keeps that pace.  Yards, ~14000 to Kelly's ~35000.  Comparing the 4 years for Allen and 10 years for Kelly, he's already averaging the same amount of yards per season (~3400-3500).  And the last two seasons for Allen were over 4.4k.

Agree. Allen will hold every Bills record for a QB if he stays healthy. He does have some advantages over Jim.

 

1. Kelly played in an era when defenses could play defense. The game today is set up for more scoring. Its more offense friendly.

2. 16 game season vs what is now a 17 game season. Soon to be an 18 game season (most likely). Longer season will have many records falling. For example Dickerson 2,105 yards rushing in 1984 ( OJ has the real record 2,003 in just 14 games) will probably fall. I could see JT behind that Colts OL in a 17 game season breaking that record.

You just can't make a good comparison between the two. It was much tougher playing QB 35 years ago.

The California tan reference is towards Joshes girl sure she is a beautiful girl but she just doesn't do it for me ! It looks IMHO as if the tan might be a tanning bed generated tan or a rub on tan thing meaning other words it's not natural .

 

But again she just doesn't do much for me & the Kelly girl's (yes i knew that was Jim's wife Jill) are  much more pretty to me but again that's just me . We each have our own taste for beauty .

The game has changed making it more difficult for defenses so we have offense stats hyperinflation.
