Much appreciated, OP.  Pretty sure that I had only ever seen highlights of that game; was out on the water when it went down live…too many years ago.  Nice way to kill some time today while isolating w/ the Crud…

Thomas AND Talley were beasts this day, especially loved 56 w/ the stuff at the 2 yard line on the final play.  Top to bottom, that was a complete team effort; great OL execution, inspired D, precious few mistakes. 

Bittersweet watching though, knowing what it lead to.  Eager to watch this year’s squad finally take it all the way, Go Josh! Go Bills!

Sad to see Joe Montana concussed in last career game.  3 years later same fate awaited Jim Kelly on same field.

   Sat in the lower non tunnel EZ for this one. The week before had been cold as bleep but this one was wet and muggy.

    They had horse mounted sheriffs on the field at the end to keep us off the field. My buddy J got a security hat ( Burke?) off the top of a guard as they were pushing everyone back into the stands….. crazy times!

a very common misconception that this was Montana’s last career game. Montana played in 94, they went 9-7 and lost in the wild card round.
