GustheDog33 Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 PFT has an article up today about the Patriots and their Pat the Patriot uniforms for the 2022 season. With the new helmet rules in place for the Fall, does anyone have any information about the Bills plans for alternate or throwback uniforms? Quote
Greg S Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 I am sure they will wear their all white throwbacks for a home game sometime in the middle of the season. At least that is what they have being doing for the past few seasons. Quote
WotAGuy Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 I can see them making an announcement about it in the next couple weeks to fill some of the dead air until training camp. 2 Quote
Mango Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 I totally get the NFL not wanting players to have multiple helmets. And I totally get players liking to wear the same single helmet. What I don't get is why the rule has been in place for so long and why they added a second helmet. We have been wrapping cars now for a while, can they not wrap a a helmet? 2 1 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Give me 90s or give me…. badly sprained ankle! 1 1 1 1 1 Quote

It will be updated in 2bd as the occasion comes up in chat you can be certain. I doubt anyone knows that kind of info yet or if its even been decided? *shrugs* that falls under Bills marketing Id imagine Quote

Because we weren’t allowed to wear white helmets, the red one with a white, grazing buffalo looked hideous. It looked like a flock of geese let loose together overhead.. 🤦♂️ 1 1 Quote

So, for example, the same standard white helmet is used for the base Bills helmet as well as the throwback standing Buffalo logo helmet. They just can’t re-wrap an entire helmet in a entirely different color, hence that’s why the red helmet could not be used until this coming season (need two helmets.) Quote

Right, I get that they can't because of the rules. And I understand that the decals are vinyl. I can get a white Honda Civic wrapped in red. Why can't I get a white Riddell helmet wrapped the same? It is certainly possible to do so. 1 Quote

Whites Bay Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 It can be any throwback uniform they want so long as it's not that tire fire from ~2000-2010. 2 1 Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 I'm huge on a new concept myself, such as the "Ohio State" gray/red ones I've seen online. However, I think this is the year they bust out the 90's unis. Quote

The white helmet is far superior to the red. 3 1 Quote
NickelCity Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Beane has said the 90s uniforms will happen. I expect it to be this year, and would be certain of it if we had won the superbowl. Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 I'm fine with waiting a year. My biggest dream is for the Bills to win a Super Bowl, and in the next year's home opener the team comes out in the 90s throwbacks for the banner/ring presentation. 2 1 Quote

SoCal Deek Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 The ultimate would be to wear the 1960 uniforms when we play the Lions on thanksgiving. It’d look like a scrimmage! 😉 2 2 3 Quote
