They ended up with the “splash” of an allegedly better (in OTA’s) Tua and Tyreek Hill. Funny that they couldn't do the smart obvious thing, because they couldn't hire a white guy.... then hired the whitest black guy I've ever seen 😆. This is what you get when you bow down to PC crowd. They didn't even win good will points with the hire, because the guy looks white Quote

The change in direction was nothing more than Ross protecting himself against a tampering accusation that would derail his ownership. Quote

Perhaps, but Brees is one of the most accurate QB's in NFL history, a future first-ballot hall of famer, a great leader, super competitive, and pretty smart. It's not accurate to say that Tua has any of that, and I'd say Brees had a much stronger arm in his prime than Tua has. Tua is just a mediocre QB, honestly. 1 Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Payton already coached a 6th grade team once, didn’t need to do it again. Quote

GETTOTHE50 Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Imagine how shot Tuas confidence could be. Flores didn’t believe in him and benched him for fitz. Ownership wanted to trade him for Watson or get Brady instead. that whole organization is toxic. Can’t forget about how ownership was wanting Flores to lose. now their young rookie head coach has to deal with this Sean Payton stuff. He must feel like plan b. No one likes to be plan b. getting tyreek was like polishing a turd. Quote
hondo in seattle Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Somewhere in the multiverse, the Fins have both Sean Payton and Tom Brady. And the Seahawks drafted Josh Allen. So glad I live in this universe. Quote
