ahem..  its "the 90" not the "I-90". 

 

I saw this 'you are from Buffalo if you say' list ...  and saying "the 90" was in the list.

 

Here in Maryland we say I-95..  I do it all the time.  And when I talk about Buffalo I say 'the 90 to the 390."  I wasn't even aware of it until I read the list.

But the 390 is Rottenchester.  The Youngman is the 290, and crosses Tonawanda and Amherst.
