Johnny Hammersticks
Dillon Ward, Colorado’s goalie, won finals MVP. He’s unreal, and also plays for the Waterdogs of the PLL. Zed Williams, who grew up in Silver Creek, NY, also had 4 goals in the game for the Mammoth. Buffalo has a great core of young talent, and I think they will be very good for years to come. Colorado’s goaltender was unreal. But his pads need to be bigger! (Joking). It's absolutely ridiculous--those guys are padded out to huge squares roughly the size of the net. And I thought it was bad in the NHL.

That’s how box lacrosse has always been played. 🤷🏾♂️

Colorado’s goaltender was unreal. Dillon Ward, the Mammoth keeper, was outstanding. But his defense did an incredible job of blocking all the shooting lanes for the Bandits. They also made it very hard to penetrate they're defensive shell. So while Ward made around 55 saves, most of those came from far out and weren't very dangerous opportunities. Meanwhile Matt Vinc, the Bandits goalie, was very good himself, but he let in a couple of soft goals in the first half. Those turned out to be the difference. Still, giving up just 9 goals should be enough to help your team win.

The atmosphere was fair weathered, loud and proud when the Bandits scored but when we fell behind late and got very quiet. It was a good game but the Bandits clearly lost it in the 3rd quarter when we couldn't muster anything in terms of goals after Vinc finally started playing better as he was horrible in the 1st half moreso in the 2nd quarter.
