Orlando Buffalo Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Jason Peters and Reuben Brown would make an offense with no question marks for me, and I think a DB just for depth. Moulds should not be on the drought list seeing as he has the most receiving yards in a playoff game. Quote
njbuff Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Eric Moulds. Â Terrance McGee, starting opposite Tre and being a lethal KR. Â Pat Williams in the middle. Quote
bobobonators Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Not based on which player was strictly the best but also based on overall impact to current roster/team: Â 1. London Fletcher 2. Marshawn Lynch 3. Ruben Brown 1 Quote

Remember Marv talking highly of him, but don't remember much else honestly.   Good article on Rusty Jones I bookmarked for him after he was lured out of retirement. https://www.colts.com/news/i-m-the-most-blessed-guy-alive  He was the one who reshaped Bruce Smith (Bruce says so himself).  He was the one who made K-Gun possible keeping team in shape to run it.  His program is what kept Bills on average with low injury rate.  When a new head coach came in he was promoted upstairs so head coach could bring in his own strength and conditioning coach. He hated it.  Ruben Brown left the Bills in a huff to Bears after reportedly attacking coach in meeting. When he got there he told them about Bills' spinach and they hired him as strength and conditioning coach. Bears had injury issues before and then they went down. https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-2007-02-01-0702010327-story.html Quote Nutrition advice has made such an impact on players that Brian Urlacher says, "If Rusty tells me to eat dirt, I'll eat dirt."  1 1 Quote

msw2112 Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Spikes, Peters, Evans - honorable mention to Freddy Jackson. As mentioned above, Allen to Evans (in his prime) would be one hell of a combination. I loved watching Evans catch bombs from JP Losman, and Allen > Losman, at least a little bit. Quote
PrimeTime101 Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 *TO **Jackson ***Darius  *TO even at the age we had him on this WR team would give defenses nightmares. **Fred Jackson MR. "You aint getting me for 3-yard losses" ***Someone tell me how the HECK they double team Oliver, Darius, Miller on that line. Would be the best line hands down. Special mention... Gilmore, Lynch. Why Fred Over Lynch you ask? Fred was DEPENDABLE... Quote

Ethan in Cleveland Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Good topic  1. Jason Peters 2. Reuben Brown 3. Aaron Schobel  It was painful to leave off Spikes and Winfield. But I prioritized pass rush and the OL.  Quote
Rigotz Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Insane to see so many people picking Freddy Jackson and Marshawn Lynch over impact players at valuable positions.  CB: Gilmore, Winfield, Clements, McGee LB: Fletcher, Spikes DE: Mario, Schoebel LT/RT: Jason Peters WR: Moulds, Evans, TO  Good lord, pick any of those over a running back. 1 Quote

But he made the playoffs his first 3 years. But was apart of the first 6 of the drought.  If Moulds is allowed I probably go  Marshawn Lynch Mario Williams Eric Moulds  Otherwise probably Peters or motivated Dareus. Quote

JimBob2232 Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 (edited) Gosh. So many different directions to go. Best positional fit based on what we have? Most loved players? Players you would just love to see enjoy this time? The Best players?  Im going to go with: Takeo Spikes Bryce Paup Jarius Byrd  Im assuming Pat Williams and Antoine Winfield arent considered drought either. Edited June 4, 2022 by JimBob2232 Quote

But I think there’s a world where the level of improvement for the entire roster is better with Williams > Rousseau or Lynch > Singletary. Quote
without a drought Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 If they played in the playoffs with the Bills, it's hard to consider them drought era Bills. 1 Quote
