Sanders hasn’t decided for sure that he wants to play again, and may be retiring.

The NFL has made that decision for him so far it seems...

Both Tua and Hurts can be the guy for their teams. I think Tua is going to surprise a lot of people.

While I kinda agree with you.....

Now because of Josh in recent memory every one who supports them is expecting the year 3 breakout.

But we will see.

I think Tua can easily be an Alex Smith type QB. Or a Jimmy G. Dolphin fans are hoping for Drew Brees but he’d have to take giant steps in his processing.

A very interesting move indeed.  Always been a big fan of his.

Fahrenheit 451 and the Martian Chronicles are some of my favorites.

That's questionable even if you're talking about 2nd year Tua.

And there's no reason to think 3rd year Tua might not be quite a bit better than that old relic.

Whatever your situation at DB, $10M for 1 year absolutely is a very big deal for a team that's got $5M in cap space this year and is already $10M under the cap for 2023.

And our Super Bowl window will last probably 12 years from now.

It's not a ten million dollar deal

It's 7.5 with incentives.  Cap hit will be reasonable.

This is a move the Bills should have absolutely made

Could have? Maybe. We'd have had to do even more reworking than we already have to do that (and we've already done a ton of that). And he already has work to do to get to where he said he wants to be cap wise by the start of this season.

But Bradberry wasn't going to sign somewhere that didn't offer him a full time unquestioned starting CB1 or CB2 job for at least the whole season. He had multiple suitors who had that available to him. In Phili he might be CB1 over Darius Slay for the year. And if all goes well there for both sides, he'll have the ability to re-sign there and keep the starting role long term.

We weren't going to spend our 1st and our 4th on Elam and then make him 3rd Outside CB off the bench in his Rookie season. If they had any concerns about Elam's ability to hold down CB2 in his 1st year, they wouldn't have spent what they spent to get him.

And even if Bradberry were okay with starting a few games until White was ready and then being depth behind White and Elam after White returned, we weren't going to pay upwards of 10 million for that role.

Bradberry coming here was never going to happen. If we wanted Bradberry for the gig, we'd have made a move for him before the Draft and we would have addressed CB with much less Draft assets than we used for Elam.
