BillsFanNC Posted May 22, 2022 Author Posted May 22, 2022 This is a great 30k ft view of the entire Russia gate hoax. Steele and/or Fusion GPS’s founder Glenn Simpson shared Steele’s memoranda with various news outlets. They also fed the supposed intel to members of the law enforcement and intelligence communities, including representatives in the Departments of Justice and State. After the FBI fired Steele as a source because he had spoken with the media, it arranged for him to continue providing his reports to the FBI by having him meet with a Justice Department attorney instead. This dual-prong approach resulted in a public saturated with circular confirmation of Trump-Russia collusion. Outlets parroted the false details fed to reporters by Steele and then referenced the FBI’s investigations into the same matters to create the appearance that the investigations confirmed the validity of the leaks. Simultaneously, the FBI used media reports as a basis to confirm Steele’s supposed intel. 1

SoCal Deek Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 What’s being lost in all of this is the reason why Hillary was desperate to spread dirt on Trump. If she was the obvious heir apparent to the Presidency…why do it? Answer: She was scared to death that the wolves were getting close to her server money laundering scheme and needed a distraction to call them off the scent. It worked to a point but she lost the election and anything that was left of her ‘reputation’ with the Left. 1

BillsFanNC Posted May 22, 2022 Author Posted May 22, 2022 Surely @BillStime has read the Select Committe on Intelligence Report that he references? Or is he just parroting what the lying media tells him about the report? You're a friggin moron @BillStime Some conclusions from the report.. Roger Stone The Committee could not reliably determine the extent.of authentic, non-public knowledge about WikiLeaks that Stone obtained and shared with the Campaign. Trump Tower meeting The Committee found no evidence that the meeting participants from the Campaign were aware of this Russian influence operation when accepting the meeting or participating in it. (U) The Committee assesses that at least two participants in the June 9, 2016 meeting, Veselnitskaya and Rinat Akhmetshin, have significant connections to the Russian government, including the Russian intelligence services. The connections the Committee uncovered, particularly regarding Veselnitskaya, were far more extensive and concerning than what had been publicly known, and neither Veselnitskaya nor Akhmetshin were forthcoming with the Committee regarding those connections. Both Veselnitskaya and Akhmetshin may have sought, in some cases, to obfuscate the true intent of their work in the United States. Following paragraph is redacted. Could it be about Veselnitskayas meetings with Glenn Simpson of FusionGPS the day before and after the Trump tower meeting? Hmmm. Trump Tower Moscow By the end of 2015, Cohen reached out to the Kremlin directly to solicit the Russian government's assistance. Cohen made contact in January 2016 with a Russian Presidential Administration aide to Dmitri Peskov, a senior Kremlin official and key advisor to Putin. Cohen discussed the project in detail and reported to Trump that he had done so. As a result of this direct outreach to the Russian Presidential Administration and Sater' s separate efforts to conduct outreach to individuals in Russia, the Committee found that senior Russian government officials (including, almost certainly, President Vladimir Putin) were aware of the deal by January 2016. ' " (U) Cohen and Sater continued negotiations through the spring of 2016. Their conversations largely focused on efforts to travel to Russia to advance the deal, but the Committee found no evidence of other concrete steps to advance the deal during this time. On June 14, 2016, Cohen and Sater met in person in Trump Tower, and Cohen likely relayed that he would not be able to travel to Russia at that time. During the summer, attempts to advance the deal stopped. The above describes activities an international real estate billionaire and his attorney might engage in while trying to make a deal. Once again...insinuating that merely being in contact with Russians in attempting to make a business deal is somehow inappropriate. Carter Page Many allegations in the media regarding Page's activities in Russia in 2016 as well as almost all assertions about Page in the "Steele Dossier" remain unverified. In addition, Page's claims to the Campaign regarding his activities and influence in Moscow remain unsubstantiated. No mention that Page was in fact a CIA asset. Mayflower Hotel Speech (U) The Committee found no evidence that anyone associated with the Trump Campaign had any substantive private conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the April 27, 2016, Trump speech held at the Mayflower J-iotel. Although Kislyak did meet Trump and other senior officials associated with the Campaign, these short interactions consisted of general statements about improved relations with Russia. Butina and Torshin The Committee did not find that either Butina or Torshin was able to establish consistent contact with Trump Campaign officials or senior staff. Steele Dossier Regarding the Steele Dossier, FBI gave Steele's allegations unjustified credence, based on an incomplete understanding of Steele's past reporting record. FBI used the Dossier in a FISA application and renewals and advocated for it to be included in the ICA before taking the necessary steps to validate assumptions about Steele's credibility. Further, FBI did not effectively adjust its approach to Steele's reporting once one of Steele's subsources provided information that raised serious concerns about the source descriptions in the Steele Dossier. The Committee further found that Steele's reporting lacked rigor and transparency about the quality of the sourcing Let me guess @BillStime Republicans bad now in regard to this report, right? 1 1
