That's pretty nuts they did this in 2 weeks.  These things normally take like a month and a half it seems.

The rookie contracts are so easy to do nowadays. Get them in camp and ready for the season.

A couple of reactions:

 

1.  The CBA makes this a bit of a cookie cutter process

2. Our early picks were late round picks making their holdouts less likely

3. Bills don't draft divas

4. These guys probably know they are potentially playing in a SB early in their career

5. Reputation of organization, team mates and fans

 

But yeah I agree.  I don't think I can remember a team having their entire team sign two weeks after the draft.

yea, really only 3 things to negotiate

1) Offsets

2) Bonus Payout Structure

3) Void language for any suspension on or off filed

 

My gut says TPEGS has no cash flow issues...no offsets and pay the bonus upfront

BBB trusts his staff and obviously his team doing background checks...so no voids 

 

Nothing else to talk about really...delaying signature just delays your client getting that cash in the bank

Congrats to the Bills on getting the draftees all in the fold.  The UDFAs are pretty much a given.  They wouldn't be Buffalo's UDFAs if they weren't signed.
