I was definitely guilty of it some with Fitz. I was one of the last ones off that bus. Maybe Fitz could have been something if he'd gone into the right situation, he didn't, then got passed around to one dysfunctional team to the next. Edited May 12, 2022 by Warcodered Quote

And it's seems like our current rivalry with them mirrors the Patriots dominance over the Bills prior to 2020 in that they always play us close one game with chances to win and get blown out in the other. If Tua takes another step this year (even marginal) the Dolphins will be division/championship contenders. If he has a 2020 Josh Allen type of breakout season then all bets are obviously off. 1 1 Quote

So last year would that have been the one we beat them by 15pts or the one where they didn't score at all? 1 Quote

The final score was very misleading in that game considering how close it was into the 4th quarter. And the previous year in Miami we easily could have lost that one if not for Allen and his first 400+ yard game which was another come from behind in the 2nd half affair. Again the point is that everyone is gunning for the Bills in the division now just like many teams tried (and mostly failed) against the Pats and Brady for the greater part of 20 years. 1 Quote

They were in the game but they were down 7 essentially the entire 4th quarter until they were down more. I disagree with saying they played us close, they were in the game but that's not the same. There's got to be a middle ground between getting blown out and being neck and neck. Quote

If he does that the Dolphins very well may be the Bills biggest threat to the division title, they certainly have been within striking distance the last few years. Keep trying. You may eventually be right. 1 Quote

You say that like it’s so easy… Josh Allen’s don’t happen all the time. In fact, it’s so rare that people literally say “If he’s the next Josh Allen”, “This team is looking for the next Josh Allen”, “He has Josh Allen like qualities”, “if he breaks out like Allen did..” Josh IS the exception. He is the comparison. People used to say “the next Tom Brady” all the time and there has been nobody to fill those shoes. Josh is an absolute 1/1,000,000 story - the likelihood anyone takes the leaps and bounds he did is so ridiculously small that you won’t hear fair comparisons until Josh is in the twilight of his career. 1 Quote
