I met him in Canisteo long ago and had the pleasure to see him again in NH at No Labels (aka Problem Solvers) events. Nice guy, articulate and personable. Honestly felt like he cared about his district and constituents. This doesn't excuse his behavior. He made poor decisions, and this is the price he has to pay for them.
