416BillsFan Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Wishing Jerry nothing but success. He's a great player who always gave it his all. Hughes is the only player who spanned the hopeless era (-2013), the inept but fun era (2014-2016), the we-may-be-onto-something era (2017-2019) to the present legit contender period. Hats off to him. 3 3 Quote
BIGFOOTspaceman Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Willing to bet no Bills fans will actually miss Jerry on gameday. Hasn't really made a consistent impact in the last two seasons. 2 2 1 Quote
May Day 10 Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Great Buffalo Bill. Im glad he got a nice taste of team success here Quote
Warcodered Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I hope the Bills at least say something once it's official, right now it's kind of like he just slipped out the back. 1 Quote
cage Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 (edited) One of my favorite players and all-time best trade! if the Bills win SB this year the ONLY regret that I would have is that he wasn't on the team. Never know, if there's a few injuries maybe we'll make a move for him at the trade deadline to shore up pass rush for "future considerations" Edited May 10, 2022 by cage Quote
cd1 Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I'm sad that Jerry won't be around when we finally win the Lombardi. 3 Quote

beerme1 Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Thanks Jerry! Best trade ever. Nothing but love for you man. Quote
Albany,n.y. Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 One of the best trades in Bills history. Topped only by the draft day trade up for Josh Allen in 2018 and possibly the Bennett trade in 1987. Quote
freddyjj Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Sorry to see him go, a pro's pro. On the other hand, back in his hometown. And reunited with Mario Addison for one last hurrah. Jacques Cesaire DL Coach for Texans was Asst DL coach for Bills last 2 years. 2 Quote
longtimebillsfan Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 (edited) Nice to see him going back home. I wish Jerry only the best. Thank you for being one of the all tiny classiest Buffal Bills. Have a kick ass season?! Edited May 10, 2022 by longtimebillsfan Quote
H2o Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 (edited) It was time for us to move on, but even still: Edited May 10, 2022 by H2o 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 (edited) Yuck. We’re one Von Miller injury away from a 44 page trade for Hughes thread. Edited May 11, 2022 by Doc Brown 1 1 5 Quote
K-9 Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Great Bill and future Wall of Fame designee. Best of luck, Jerry. 1 Quote
Sestak4ever Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Loved his passion for the game and for the Bills team. Got him in trouble with the officials a few times and I think it lead crews to look away when Hughes was being held or collared by an offensive lineman. 1 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Like Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, Thurman Thomas, and Fred Jackson before him, Jerry Hughes should have retired a Buffalo Bill. Farewell Jerry Hughes, and we thank you. 1 Quote
