I hear ya…I always say I love this country, but I hate our corrupt government…I’ve learned to separate the two, but for some people, maybe it’s harder to do… 1
SCBills Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 (edited) They’ll hollow out your religion and wear it as a suit.. Posting this sacrilegious trash on Easter. I’m beyond sick of these Marxists. Edited April 10, 2023 by SCBills 2

I suggest you read up on what is now called classical liberalism. Because you just got a D- on this “discuss the origins of liberal thought in political theory” assignment. Chat GPT would do a lot better.
SCBills Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Let me guess .. leftists will now support centralized currency because Ron DeSantis opposes it… 1

Today's Libertarian/constitutionalist would be considered a classical liberal by the definition of that time.

Classical liberals like HHH, RFK, and McGovern, labor leaders like Reuther and Chavez, civil rights leaders like King and Abernathy would be considered conservatives and exiled by today's extreme, authoritarian establishment loving leftists. Evil big government is now good big government since they took control and they love the power and want more. Too bad they rule over a country they've transformed into a big steaming pile of dog crap. Well done Douches. 1 2

Well done Douches. if its a labor leader, that's kind of the dead opposite of classical liberal ideology. but I get your point. today's GOP are just big government trash. cant argue that. And as someone that used to consider himself a moderate or blue dog dem, they are long gone as well.

Like mother, like son. On September 17, 2022, Representative Lauren Boebert's eldest son, Tyler, was issued a "careless driving causing bodily injury" ticket in connection with a late-night car crash in which he flipped his father's SUV into a Garfield County creekbed. Noble D'Amato, a nineteen-year-old friend of Tyler's who was riding shotgun, wound up hospitalized with multiple concussions and a severely lacerated hand. "I still have problems with my hand," D'Amato says. "My thumb almost got cut off. It prevented me from getting a welding job, because I can't hold a TIG torch anymore. I'm a personal-care provider now." **** Records show that Lauren Boebert, who was first elected to Congress in 2020 and fought off Adam Frisch in the 3rd Congressional District House race last November, has received a summons or been arrested at least four times in the past decade. The 2016 careless driving incident resulted in her being tossed in jail for approximately 100 minutes for failing to appear in court, according to the Denver Post. A plea deal later led to the careless driving charge being dropped and only the unsafe-vehicle charge stuck, according to records. Boebert's record also includes a charge of disorderly conduct for verbal altercations and dog code violations related to the alleged harassment of a neighbor and her dogs. Jayson, meanwhile, was charged in 2004 for public indecency and lewd exposure for showing his penis to two women at the Fireside Lane bowling alley in Rifle.

And classical liberalism got us where we are today. It’s incredibly easy to subvert as has been shown in stunning fashion several times in the 20th century. To paraphrase Chigurh: if the constitution brought you to this, of what use was the constitution? GOP and libertarian nonsense about small government only works in the pre-1960s America. Even voting now as compared to then is not a genuine method of distilling the will of the people, but rather an acceptance of a marketing strategy from two parties who practically make out in the middle of the horseshoe. Oh and as for King, he would be tap dancing over the current state of the races in America. Another person that the GOP insists on embarrassing themselves over every year, tripping over themselves to pay obeisance to one of the gods of the modern left. 1

And never mind thats "our" game as well when supporting regime changes. he euro maiden was driven by the youth. Even Iran, when they got close a few months ago, it was the kids leading the charge.
