He was just on Schopp and the Bulldog and said that the only reason that the Eagles and Chiefs announced that their games in week 2 were "Home Openers" is because both the Royals and Phillies are playing at home week 1 so they already knew they wouldn't be home for week 1. Bills at Rams week 1 still possible

Bills should start scheduling events for stadium even if they are high school ones to help them control schedule.

We used to have an expert here on scheduling high level meetings but right now he can only schedule them in prison yard.

hahaha, my other monitor is open scheduling a team check in before my boss comes to our briefing. So I'm meeting with my guys to tell them to not say anything stupid at the meeting, a pre meeting meeting.

i mentioned in the other thread when you have baseball fields near the football stadiums you can’t have games on the same day.

Soccer stadiums are also near these places too.  Others have Arenas

Philadelphia

baltimore

kansas city

seattle

pittsburgh

cincinnati

dallas

unsure with denver
minneapolis

Arenas close to football stadiums

 nashville

la forum next to sofi

unsure how close SAP center is to 49ers home

vegas

indianapolis

phoenix did but hockey team moving.

these places share the same parking lots and transportation options

some of them could do a 12 pmET baseball game and an 8 pm ET football game but they don’t want to do that because they share the same stadium crews and concession and security operators

I wish UB will make use of this wonderful facility (both current and new) and play at Orchard Park.  It is also a state funded organization.

I'd been buying into this line of reasoning for awhile, because it's...well, a line of "reasoning", as opposed to "I've had another Labatt's, so let me tell you what's going to happen."  But here's my admittedly stupid counterargument:

I don't think the NFL could give a rat's hairy @$$ about ANY of that.  Why do I say that?  Because I've watched the NFL stake out Thanksgiving, and then warily watch the NBA stake out Christmas Day as "NBA Day".  All's fair in love and ratings, right?  And they let 20 (?) years go by, and they watched the ratings, and they watched the ratings, and PRESTO.  We started getting NFL games on Christmas.  Simply by "the luck of the draw; you know...it's just the way the calendar worked out, Christmas was on a Saturday....".

And now nobody or their great aunt watches the NBA on Christmas unless they have ZERO life.  Certainly not when paired off against the NFL.  Hell, the Jets at Jaguars would CRUSH pretty much NBA game.  So would Northern Ohio at East Midwestern Arkansas State.

So the NFL really doesn't give two good g@ddamns about what NBA games are rolling in the same time slot.  That's big.  Think about it - this is the NFL versus the NBA.  Lots of munny munny munny at stake.  Someone's going to win, someone's going to lose.  The ratings are the the blood splotches on the floor.  So what makes us think they're going to give two limp ***** about the viewership of any MLB game happens to be going on when they come to town?

As someone who went to UB it would be hard for those at UB to go to games without cars  even if shuttles were provided.

If it is a game you do not wish to finish watching some would say "get a yugo" but I know at time I went I did not have the money and would walk to my off campus housing 1.5 from campus rather than paying bus to get me half a mile away.
