dbol would be worthless to these guys. hgh makes a ton of sense for recovering from injury, but i doubt testing for that is very good, and league should turn a blind eye to it anyways. the only way its enhancing them is recovery, and theres no way the nfl wants these guys recovering at the rate that normal human beings do

The effects of any AAS on muscle and connective tissue repair is well-documented:

Only the dumb ones get caught.

This is my reaction, too.  You have to be pretty dumb to get caught, given the way the system works.

Pretty sure PED’s and other substances run throughout the league.  Not surprising.

Edit: forgot about Hollywood Brown.  Maybe they should have kept Kirk?

Just not a great compound for the nfl. You can only run it a few weeks. There's a lot of water that cones with it. I guess they could run it during their off season strength program, but even then they're running it side by side with test, and test is doing 90% of the work. Strength gains and size from it are pretty short lived as well.

DHop is coming off his first injury-riddled season as he nears 30. Seems a pretty easy choice.

Take something and recover from an injury stronger and 3 months faster in exchange for a 6 game suspension. Or don’t take anything, have a worse recovery, and return even later than the suspension return date.

The NFL's record for drug testing, is pretty abysmal.

If they adopted the type of testing that athletics has, teams would probably need rosters twice the size to deal with all of the suspensions.

The 'punishments' are also pretty laughable. For Hopkins to get a 6 game suspension, has he not been already 'captured' previously?

I was wondering if he got nailed before too. I thought first strike was 4 games?
