Calling it now……Greg Rousseau gets double digit sacks in 2022.

#1 - Von Miller on the other side getting double teamed ……lots of 1on1 action for GR.

#2 - Learning from Von Miller is gonna take his game to the next level.

#3 - Our offense is gonna force alot of opponents to throw the ball to try and play catch-up …….GR will be able to pin his ears back and eat.

#4 - A full year in Buffalo’s strength and conditioning program.

i feel good about him in 22…….12-15 sacks…..calling it now!

I heard something on one of the Bills podcasts forget which one but they said Rousseau looks like he put on a lot of muscle in his upper body.  I have a lot of hope for him this season as well

You forgot about our upgrade on the interior dl inside pushing the quarterbacks outside of the pocket more often, leading to more clean up sacks on the outside.

I agree… I think #2 on your list is the important one here. Learning everything from Von Miller is going to turn Rousseaus game into an elite pass rusher.

I don't know about "elite"...but I do definitely believe he will improve, maybe quite a bit. With addition of Miller and improvement from the DT's in the middle (hopefully)....he will certainly have the chance to be a bigger force.

That in consideration I'd be surprised if he didn't take a bit of a leap and make lots of plays.

It was on one Bills live. Said he looks like a different person. Bad things man bad things.

Two things I noticed last year with him.

First was the lack of bulk.  This made it hard for him to set the edge sometimes if he didn't get first leverage.  He is quick but would get taken out one on one if he didn't get the first step on the OT or TE

Second, was the lack of counter moves.  He was a one trick power move and hands up rusher.  Hopefully, he has also been doing some work on this.

He has a really good first step.  A little more strength will help a lot.

I was psyched for Epenesa after the first Dolphins game when he had all the pressures but he didn't really build on that game.

I hope both improve substantially this year and learn a lot from Von Miller.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves in this comparison. You’re taking one of the best ever’s tag line here.

Pass rushes typically take a big jump in their 3rd year not their second.

You’d be 100% incorrect.

Miller - 11.5 to 18.5

Garrett - 7 to 13.5

Mack - 4 to 15

TJ Watt - 7 to 13

Donald - 9 to 11

C. Jones - 6 to 11.5

JJ Watt - 5.5 to 20.5

N. Bosa - 9 to 15.5(missed 2nd season)

D. Hunter - 6 to 12.5

C Jordan - 1 to 8

Burns - 7.5 to 9

He’s really the key to the defense imo. Him, Epenesa or Basham need to be a consistent force. They all got at least a year with Hughes and Addison and now get to practice and watch film with Miller, learning from veteran guys like that is huge. I expect a dominant pass rush.

Not necessarily, depends on the situation and if there's better personnel than it was previous season surrounding can play a factor. Anyway, I do think he's going to take a jump, but no idea how big though

I thought the same. Maybe not 100% but at least 90% 😉

True fact. A man can dream 😀

We all expect improvement and more playing time from Greg Rousseau.

He had 4 sacks last year, so I expect with our DL upgrades, and his year of experience, he can double that this year.
