Josh Johnson can play.   He's a dog out there.  The question is whether he is too damn slow for it to translate to the NFL.

I will echo the person who was interested in Isaiah Weston.    Would like to see more of a traits guy.

Beane just confirmed in his press conference that Shakir can play both inside and outside and pretty much every draft analyst said the same.

I could see him getting outside depth work this year along with maybe some sweep action and kick/punt work.

Then as contracts are up getting more work inside/Slot down the road.

Why did Jalen drop? I saw him listed as the #2 best tight end on some draft websites.  This could be a steal.

Hodgins is not a boundary WR.  He is a big slot in our offense.

Maybe but that's the same as Beane saying he would take a 1st round RB.............nothing good can come of saying otherwise...........especially when he already has 2 veteran slot receivers who aren't going to want to hear that noise.

He said he was sick that day. He should beat Sweeney for a spot

Oh I agree. But that’s why he dropped. I really like him. Coming into 2022 he was viewed as the top tight end.

Wydermyer was projected to be a late day two/early day three pick so a nice signing as a UDFA.

TE3 and TE2 next year is probably one of our biggest openings on the team, gives a bit more pull trying to bring in UDFA there.

According to Pro Football Network, we have signed Prince Emili, DT, Penn.

A scout report for him is in the link below:

It's always nice to have royalty on the team.
