Justyn Ross is a really boom or bust kid, he was going to be a stud prior to the neck injury, it's one of those things that if Buffalo can get him in, our medical staff would be the few I trust to give him a pass medically. IMO better than Mike Williams at Clemson and was an absolute monster that National Championship year

He looked like a future superstar as a freshman in that NCG against Alabama.    GREAT ball skills.   The neck issues really killed his pro stock since.

Last year the #2 spot was split between Davis and Sanders. Personally I think Davis fits better in this offense when he isn't a full time #2 and can take advantage of more favorable matchups created for him. It may be that the Bills have decided he's going to be the full time #2 and they're fine with Kumerow backing him up. That's not what I would do though.

Fair enough.  You should always look to be improving your roster.

Carson Strong signed with the Eagles

That's a perfect spot for him. If Hurts starts to struggle he might get an opportunity but he won't be forced to play too early. He steps onto a team with a good OL and a true #1 WR which is what he'll need to be successful given his lack of mobility.

Davis is going to be a breakout star this year, just wait.

You are really going out on a limb there.

I think it's pretty much assumed that he is going to catch something like 80+ passes for 1200 yards.

He'd pretty much have to in order to replace the combined production while basically splitting time with Sanders.

Buffalo drafted Kalil Shakir in the 5th.

He is 6'0" 196

4.43 40, 4.21 20 yd shuttle

He is the outside WR depth

He will be given every chance to unseat Kumerow and Hodgins.

I fully acknowledge that I am NOT a college football fan.

But who sees Shakir as outside WR depth?

All the scouting reports I've read say he played strictly in the slot.

Blackshear is actually a super interesting guy. I don't know if he makes this roster out of camp, but he's got a great chance of being a PS guy.

He's got a little Christian McCaffrey in him.

see he loves VT guys

I think it's a scout thing.

Which is one of the inefficiencies of the scouting business..........sometimes more stones get turned at places where teams have relationships than at others.

I remember the John Butler Bills had some tight connections at UNC........which was good (Thomas Smith and Keith Newman for example) and bad (bust WR Bucky Brooks).

Beane just confirmed in his press conference that Shakir can play both inside and outside and pretty much every draft analyst said the same.

He was their #1 WR. Played outside and inside. He projects more to the slot in the NFL.

Your telling me they can’t find an UDFA Guard better than Cody Ford… or even Jake Kumerow? Not a long shot by any means.

Yes, that’s what they’re telling you…,

and you better step off on TD Jesus…
