It’s not completely his fault, ie. the 3-step punt the other poster brought up, consider the snap was high. Multiple 80-plus yards punts during 2021 season and also kicks field goals (converted 53-yarder in '21). Didn't have a single punt or kick blocked. Can kick off as well. Ran in the 4.7s at the combine and is an additional player on the coverage team because of his speed and athleticism. He had 2 punts blocked vs. Utah St. last season. Here is video of the second one. davefan66 Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 (edited) Watching his zoom. I love this kid! Smart and well spoken. Has taken the time to learn how to hold from former NFL pro kickers. Also has taken the time to practice directional kicking. Cool. Edited April 30, 2022 by davefan66 Quote

I haven't see the first block to know what happened there. Quote

Total # of punts and field position would be very important. A lot of what they showed by Araiza were punts from the wrong side of the field. Makes sense when punting from your 10 to kick the heck out of the ball. Your 40? Different kind of kick. Love the kid, hope he is here for many years to come!! Quote
