You may not be aware that the Sabres announcer,, a guy who has been with the team since 1971, received a heartfelt and undeniably robust standing ovation at a ceremony for him in early April. It was a packed house. He will be missed by fans across the NHL. I assume your guy is Jack Edwards and when he leaves, fans across the NHL will rejoice with relief. Quote
