Having your QB attempt 30 passes in that wind (for 145 yards total--the longest was 26 yards to Diggs, not 50) was a bad decision. 2 minutes ago, Doc said: Belicheat made it windy? Impressive. They don't have Josh Allen we do.. we played a riskier strategy and it didn't pay off Sometimes you got to see what you can and can't do Quote

NE RBs had 38 carries for 220 yards. Bills RBs had 19 carries, 99 yards. Game over. It was the worst gameplan imaginable for those conditions. 1 1 Quote

We lost because Harris broke off like a 70-yard touchdown Take that away and they were running at like a 3.6 yard per clip It was freak weather conditions that happen once every 10 years Their strategy of 40 runs and one pass probably wouldn't work again Belichick played it smart and we didn't... Rc2catch Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 I wouldn’t laugh too much because of his projected draft slot. New England tends to churn out some really great offensive linemen. They may not always perform outside New England when they get their second contracts, but they still coach these guys up pretty good while they’re there. But it is fun to see their fan base melting down 1 Quote

GolfandBills Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 Strange will probably be a good player but a round or two too early. Puzzling yet laughable cause it’s NE Quote

There is a video link of Sean McVay watching the pick live while he is being interviewed and then absolutely nuking the pick. McVay starts laughing out loud and says they wasted a lot of time looking at Strange thinking he'd be there at pick 104. It's rare to see an NFL coach bomb another coach One of the best comments directed towards Bill from the thread was; "Your defense didn’t force a got damn punt the last two games vs Buffalo, moron." It's so nice to see the worst fanbase in the NFL getting what they deserve. 😃 https://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/cole-strange-wtf.1158338/ They aren’t dealing with adversity too well. Being in that desert gon be a hard lesson for those jokers. 😏 Quote

Can't invoke Aaron Maybin when criticizing a LATE 1st round reach who could very well end up being a SOLID player. Does anyone else remember how puzzling the Logan Mankins reach was? People reacted similarly to that pick. Very similar vibes here. Terrible relative draft value, but mitigated by real world results (in the case of Mankins; we'll see about Strange). Maybin was both a reach AND a bust. And much higher in the 1st round. Quote
CorkScrewHill Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 Perhaps he thought the were drafting Doctor Strange .. thinking he could pull a younger Brady from a different part of the Multiverse? Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 I love it and hilarious to see pats fan melting down and McVay laughing at them. But…if I’m BB I am tweeting a pic of the SB ring I got holding McVays offense to 3 points in the SB. Quote
machine gun kelly Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 Thank you my six fingered friend. That was funny as I don’t go to other fan boards. Seems like a very odd pick. They needed so many other areas and had talent available. Quote

Thankfully, something happened somewhere around four years ago and he got a lot worse. It wasn't Brady leaving, they had been going downhill for a couple of years and Brady left partly in response to that. 1 Quote
