Great pick from McBeane!!! Love it... tall corner, very athletic, played in the SEC. Big plus also is that he's not a Breece Hall 1st round pick... drafted need and got a great player Dallas coveted.

It's not just the culture- Gators had huge issues on defense and got toasted early and often.

 

Elam never popped to me the way most of our past 1st round DBs have. 

 

Was actually shocked when they said he was a 1st rd pick.

I'm just thrilled Beane got a CB he wanted in Round 1. I spent the whole Draft process being told CB in Round 1 wasn't necessary and I felt like I was taking crazy pills listening to it.

I hate to say it but UC’s corner isn’t nearly as talented as Florida’s corner. No, I don’t hate to say it. Ohio state didn’t even offer Gardner. He will be fine but he’s not elite elite.

The Bills going CB was obvious. A small trade up was necessary to keep them from getting jumped for their guy.  Apparently they didn’t have Booth or another CB ranked closely.
