Im not worried about picking in the 4th. Im worried a guy we might want, that might fall enough where we could use that 4th to move up more then 2 spots in the 2nd or 3rd.

Yep.  And Elam was talked about all week as a big riser on teams' boards.  Listening to WGR yesterday, and many of the guys didn't think he'd last until 25.

Well the order got a little screwed up after the top 10 by all the trades..... but my final mock had 27 of the 32 guys that came off the board tonight.

You mean you didn't see Cole Strange coming off the board?!

OMG...can someone explain how future all pro Booth wasn't drafted in the 1st round?!

Must be the injury concerns.

Chris Hairston

Ron Brooks

Nigel Bradham

Duke Williams

Ross Cockrell

Cardale Jones

Taron Johnson

Gabe Davis

who are these guys?

They are all of the Bills 4th round picks in the last 10 yrs

Was trading a 4th rounder to get “your guy” in the 1st round really a desperate move?

Time will tell. If Elam is a quality player, a 4-5 yr starter or better, it’s a good move.

Haha the 5 I didn't have that went were (in order from lowest to highest by my big board - Cole Strange, Quay Walker, Kaiir Elam, Tyler Linderbaum and Daxton Hill. I took Hill out at the very last minute as well and swapped him for Kyler Gordon to the Bengals. Darn.

Medicals. But if his health allows he still very much has all pro potential

The same could be said for Lloyd and Johnson. We can go in circles all day. I just dont agree with the trade up.

Seems like Dallas had lined themselves up to pick him, or at least that was the concern - hence the trade up as he was the final first round corner we had on our board.

The Packers get a huge F from me.

They get all this credit for being so smart, they’re terrible.

Aaron Rodgers was selected in 2005.

Since then they taken 13 defensive players with their first pick in the Draft and one pick was Jordan Love.

One WR with their first pick in the draft - 2008 Jordy Nelson in the 2nd Round.

And what do they do again this year? Two more defensive players.

And with all that investment, they’ve had a pedestrian defense for years.

But so many TBD experts were still OK using our 1st on him?🤔

So no one else used their 1st on him but we were supposed to?🤔

That is definitely not what I said. I don't know what the medicals are. If the Bills are not comfortable with them (as clearly they weren't) then they are right to pass. But some team somewhere is going to gamble get a top 10 type talent at a bargain price. That gamble is too rich for round 1 but if they can keep him healthy it will pay off.
