That certainly sends a shot across the bow of the Giants locker room, if they'll cut last year's 1st rounder no one is safe.  Get on board or get on out.   Kinda like the Bills moving on from Dareus.

He’s everything we’re looking to add to this offense but I can’t see us trading for a guy our former Assistant GM and OC don’t want any part of.

Depending on compensation this seems like a no brainer. Our culture and work ethic is set how much trouble could he actually cause here?
Talented and on a rookie contract. Take a couple of my late round picks

Pass on Divas.  Florida football program is a joke the past few years.  And then a year in the Big Apple where he was one of the bad apples.

Could his issues just have been with previous coaching / front office staff?

Likely not since house has been cleaned but I'd think he'd be willing to talk with new team.

And, sometimes when there are new people running the office, you try to go above and beyond to gain a foothold and make a strong first impression.

Probably not a character fit for us but I know a lot of people on here loved him as a prospect.

MAKE THIIIIIS HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!! Dudes our Tyreek Hill waiting to happen. Giants were a dumpster fire last year, waited for ever to let him see the field. No serious character concerns. Joe Judge is a crazy disciplinarian, that made him wait forever to hit the field, and he was an instant stud. DDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT

low risk/high reward for an absolute freak. what better place to rehab a player than the best offense in the league, with a whole locker room of process.

i think a 4th or 5th gets it done, but am sending a 3rd without a second thought.

Let him become his best version of himself at OBD. For a 4th this year a next years' 6th.

Going from the Giants to the Bills, think he still has some crashing down to Earth before he can make a come back.

A packet of 1980s wine gums?

Those would be "jujyfruits" in the states.

Someone brought some boxes of movie theatre candy to the October Chiefs game.........which nobody ate because it's not really a tailgate food so they sat in the pantry area.

When you posted that I went over and checked and there were some of those in the stack.

Opened it up........still relatively soft and chewy.........those 1980's one's would yank the teeth right outta' your head if you weren't careful.

in addition to just skipping OTAs as a rookie, which is insane, apparently he wasn’t too motivated to learn the playbook, was a d*** in meetings, and some suspected him of being a malingerer with his various foot issues.

edit: oh and he took a swing at a guy and got tossed last season against the cowboys.

Thanks, yeah I think its safe to say he isn't on the Bills radar, thats is not the kind of player McD and Beane will tolerate in the locker room

Do you know what his characters issues might be by any chance, I didn't follow his first year with the Giants closely enough to know what they are.

I don’t know about the character issues, but the fact that he is on the market already speaks to why the Giants former FO is GONE!

Bills FO would have to do some due diligence on him 1st.

He's not Tyreek Hill like.

First......Toney is just a slot guy.......Hill can play any receiver position.

And Toney is very good at making people miss in tight quarters but he has just enough speed to turn 2-3 stop and go, hard cuts into that occasional 10-15 yards.

DB's have to respect Tyreek Hill and give him space because he can turn a missed tackle into an 80 yard touchdown.

Toney is fun to watch but he's closer to a 2020's version of Peter Warrick or Roscoe Parrish than he is Tyreek the Unique.

should be fairly easy. plenty of friends in NY, and he was just drafted last year (should be scouted well). This doesnt feel like a move our FO makes, but dang this would tip the scales. KC lost Tyreek, and we swing the closest comp you can get to him. Plus hes an absolutely electric return man.
