So much this. Seattle has absolutely zero intrigue for me. They are going to be a tire fire IMO. Metcalf is wise to demand an extension now. Because his numbers are going to be garbage with QB of the week throwing to him.

Your booking window only increases if you have no intentions of going to week 1.  Airbnb and Southwest give free cancellations as long as you are a week or more out from your travel/stay. I just sort of read this as "I cannot go to Kansas City in October because you didn't tell me until May", which seems wild to me and cannot be a scalable complaint.

 

There is more than ample time to schedule a long weekend without any real financial commitment.
 

Then you read it wrong.

 

Also, for some people it's more than a long weekend, they might want to stay longer for whatever reason.

 

The NFL can release the dates earlier than this.

It's still possible. There is a time difference. So they are done at 1230 PM EST they have 8 hours to fly home.

1. Get LA game out of the way early.  And only long road trip of season,

2. Nice time to be playing in Miami avoiding early season steam bath

3. Get @NE done early season.

4. Love facing Miami in Buffalo to end their season hopes.

5. Mid season bye with @NYJ coming out of bye

 

Things I don't like:

 

1. GB, @KC, @BAL is a gauntlet

2. CLE week 11 all but assures Buffalo sees Watson

No Amazon Prime game is a glaring omission and hard to believe

On a certain level I want to see them punch through that wall of eliminating the Chiefs at Arrowhead, more than that though Super Bowl obviously however that can happen is ideal. Still, it's something I'd like to see sometime.

If the Bills can do a doubleheader on Thanksgiving with the Lions and Ravens, the Packers can do the same with the Giants and Bills.
