TigerJ
Does he have Hodgkins or non-Hodgekins lymphoma? I thought I heard he had Hodgkins, but I can't be sure. Stage four is the most advanced but there is some hope he can beat it.

rovey1961
I was Dx with Hodgkins at age 9 (1970) original Dx was stage II was upgraded to stage IV when I contracted pneumonia and then didn't know what was going on... That was after the 2nd round of chemo and radiation I had at Roswell in Buffalo... Joe should make a full recovery since original Dx usually are not set in stone until more tests are done just my $.
slothrop
my brother died of aniplastic large-cell lymphoma (nonhodgkins) at age 26. His cancer had progressed to stage III (both above and below diaphram and bone involement). I hope he beats it - but you have to be more than tough - you have to be lucky. MichFan
If it's Hodgkins then there is a very good chance he'll beat it even at a Stage IV. My wife was diagnosed with Stage II Hodgkins this January and is already in remission as of this past week. If it's non-Hodgkins, then things could be dicier.
