LeGOATski Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Betting odds seem to be factoring in home field advantage. If so, that's funny. Quote

4_kidd_4 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Gotta say this league has some real clean uniforms & logos. Glad they rehashed their 80’s look, that was the last simple uniform era in all of sports before the 90’s kinda went over the top with things. 1 1 Quote

My son was offered a position on the all-star baseball team. When I asked him if he was interested he asked “do I have to?” Of course not (my secretly relieved self told him). He said “good, in baseball, half the guys are standing around, and the other half are sitting!”. From the mouths of babes……. 1 Quote

It would have just looked a little better on tv. Maybe like a 30k seat dome in one of the most populated cities in America or something. The football itself is ok. 22 hours ago, Buffalo Timmy said: Next year they should go to a city with a 15000 seat dome like the Fargodome. Obviously if they could find it in a city that is much larger that would help also. Last week I went to the UCF spring game and it is just too hot to sit for 3 hours in the sun. The league needed a lot of extras besides a stadium. A hotel large enough to host all the players and staff. Meeting rooms, food service, training spaces and fields. Birmingham had everything they wanted. Next year the plan is to move to each city. Bit they have a long way to go before that. Quote
davefan66 Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 (edited) 14-0 Breakers over TB. No fans in the stands. Edit: finally showed the stands better. Couple hundred fans. Decent drive by TB to get a FG. These guys could have used a few more weeks to gel. Offenses seem a bit disjointed. Edited April 24, 2022 by davefan66 Quote

Mike in Horseheads Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Kinda pathetic that ESPN doesn't even show the scores, standings etc Quote
BobbyC81 Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Well, 2 of the 4 games this weekend were high scoring and close. Quote

The drop was worse than AAFL and XFL both and about what they saw in week 4+5. It is going to be hard pressed to support the number of players needed and the games are not very good. Orlando Buffalo Posted May 2, 2022 Posted May 2, 2022 Having a Sunday night primetime game behind a paywall service for a league you are trying to build a fan base is stupid. This was not thought through very well. Quote
