This game that's on now is the best of the 3 so far Imo. I really think one thing they should do in these leagues is shorten the quarters to 10 or 11 mins. The games are just too long for the level of play

Totally agree with this.

 

Efficient offenses keep the clock moving. Bad offenses with tons of 3-and-outs and incomplete passes make the game drag on forever.

Maulers/Bandits on FS1. Supposed to be at 8. Might be delayed, like the other games were.

I read that teams are allowed to attempt two forward passes behind the line of scrimmage. I haven't seen any teams get creative with that rule yet. Seems like a waste of an opportunity not to use it.

When you have Jeff Fisher as a HC don't expect a lot of offensive creativity

They haven't had much time together yet, maybe sticking to what they all know before working on some new stuff.

Looked like they decided to postpone the 4th game to Monday @ 7pm. Still on FS1. Lightning is back.

"The United By Football........A Season in the USFL" episode one featured an exchange with former Orchard Park, NY HS and Tarleton State QB.......the USFL #4 overall pick........Ben Holmes and his NJ General teammate where he was asked if he was a Bills fan.......and he said he wasn't a sports fan of any kind and didn't watch sports except for some golf occasionally.

 

@Doc would be incredulous to hear that an aspiring pro football player......from Orchard Park no less........didn't follow pro football.
