We have no details about the woman, that I know of at least. Could’ve been his assistant which in that case would make perfect sense as to why she was in the car.

Worst assistant ever.

Here's the unfortunate conclusion to this story.

Unfortunate that this had to come out, doesn't really change the tragedy perspective on his side, but maybe it'll help the driver a little or something.

don’t the additional reports that came out today qualify as some “knowledge of the situation?”

No it doesnt change the tragedy but maybe, just maybe some drunk wil think before they drink to such excess away from where they are staying and as you allude to,  I have to believe if makes the truck driver feel a lot better and now I cant believe anyone would try to sue him/her/

The whole thing is so unfortunate, but I agree that if it helps the driver and the driver’s loved ones, it is positive information. Other than that, maybe it can serve as one more cautionary tale thrown on top of the mountain of warnings that came before it.

I was referring to saying it was addiction related.  That's ignorant unless I missed the report that said he was an alcoholic.  That's like saying anyone who ever got drunk is an alcoholic.  That was my point.

The report also showed Haskins' urine samples tested positive for ketamine and norketamine.

Did anyone check to see if person he got in fight with drove a dump truck?

I have been given ketamine before with dental work and had to be driven home.  No way could I have been driving.

Ketamine (Special K) has been used recreationally at clubs and raves since the 1990s.

The 60-90 minute period where the drug is strongest is known as a K-hole.

After 2+ hours motor skills return to almost normal, but mentally may still be in a bit of a fog

yea, I don’t think we know enough day to day… but there have been a few indications he likes to drink/party.

I wouldn't be so quick to brand him without having any knowledge of the situation

normal people dont have 3x legal limit in their blood this early in the morning. nor do they take horse tranquilizers at the same time, and then drive, likely on no sleep and drinking straight through. thats addict behavior if ive ever seen it

you are describing the movie Hustlers starring Jennifer Lopez.

Yup. That's what goes down in that area where he wandered off the road. Very high end strip joints.  It's a big thing in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale and even some here in Tampa. My wife was in nursing and heard rumors about nurses getting paid thousands to train dancers/escorts how to administer ketamine so it would not do damage but knock the person out, especially with enough alcohol.

Dudes get rolled at clubs and strip joints all the time in Miami. Especially the high rollers who stroll in wearing expensive jewelry with large credit card limits. They run up the cards in the club for thousands at a time, take watches and rings. And if they can get the guys to some hotel or another place, they get even more.

When I read the toxicology report on PFT yesterday and that he had been with another female, other than his wife, around the time of his death it made me get that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I know these guys are mostly young, rich, and try to "live it up", but all of the events leading to his death just make me think about his life choices in general and where they can lead. It's sad to see unfold and his life is now over.

It's crazy cause wasn't he on the way to work out with Steelers players or something? It's unbelievable he'd be able to function at a high level being that drunk.

I don't think anyone is playing football with a .24, that is drunk off your azz.   Maybe really experience alcoholics can function that drunk? Tend to doubt it, the events that transpired kind of prove that.
