If the top four corners are off the board at #25, here is a potential trade, down the board, that I think would be ideal for our Bills...

Falcons get:

#25 (720)

#89 (145)

Zack Moss

—————-

Total (865)

Bills get:

#43 (470)

#74 (220)

#82 (180)

—————-

Toal (870)

With this trade, the Bills would have 43, 57, 74, and 82 to address CB, WR, OL, and RB if they wanted to...What do you think? Do you like this scenario, given the circumstance?

Edit: Feel free to remove Zack Moss if you want...I just threw him in because we would likely be upgrading from him...👍

This seems so random, the Falcons would have to want 25, there would have to be "their guy" there when it gets to 25.  Sure your points balance out good but both sides have to want it.  ANd why Moss thrown in randomly?

So we trade down and lose a player in the process?  That makes no sense

Or keep Moss...I don’t really care... I just tried to even the value, and sweeten the pot a little, to get Atlanta to make the deal...

That's nowhere near enough value to move that far down with the roster we have currently...

My goal was to accumulate value in the sweet spot of the draft, based on our needs- to get us out of that “no man’s land”...👍

Definitely get and like the thought, but I'd focus more on teams with multiple high 2s or a late 1/high 2 and try to swaps 1s and 2s with them...

Jets, Lions and Seahawks all fit that mold. Let them move up to get a "their guy" (Lions, perhaps w/ a QB) and upgrade our 2 so we can get 2 higher level players instead of 1... That'd be my though.

I like the idea of trading back from 25 for more picks, and using back picks to trade up for several picks 30-125, but with your scenerio, the vaule is not there IMO, even if the chart says so

Nah... I’d rather use Zach Moss, AJ Epenesa and our 1st and 5th to trade up to around #15 to get the #2 or # 3 CB. Stingley or Mcduffy or by some miracle Sauce Gardner drops there (I doubt it).

Nope - we do not need additional picks.  Move up from 2nd round and 3rd - even round 1.

Get me 4-5 guys in this draft to fill in.

I don’t need 9-10 picks with this roster.  Get me some talent to grow with.

Team No 15 laughs in Beane’s face and tells him never to call again at the thought of trading two duds to move up from 25 to 15..

The Bills are trying to trade up not back. They want players who are going to make an immediate impact, not guys that "might pan out if they are lucky"

It's generally the team that trades up that has to sweeten the deal. Not always, true. But far more often.

That's not the Bills who "want players who are going to make an immediate impact." It appears to be you.

The Bills have shown that they love their picks, particularly the top five rounds or so.

The Bills might trade up. Or back. Generally they seem to like to trade up, but only just a bit, using 6ths or 7ths to sneak up a bit, outside gathering a ton of draft capital to move up for a QB.

I do think having the 4 picks on day 2 is the way to fill our biggest remaining needs. WR, CB, RB and OL. I like the idea a lot. But would the rebuilding Falcons want to move up? Maybe if Kenny Pickett is still there at 25?
