Popular Post TFBillsfan Posted April 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 1, 2022 (edited) I hope many are stepping back and realizing what an amazing time we are experiencing as Bill’s fans! *Franchise, electric, superstar QB *Stadium announcement securing the Bills in Buffalo for decades. *Free Agents destination *A respected front office *Super Bowl favorites *Expectations to win not just compete *A well rounded roster *One of the highest paid rosters in the NFL *Mega press coverage *Drafting later in the 1st round I could go on and on but for those of us who have been Bill’s fans forever I hope everyone is enjoying the ride we are on. HomeTeam Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Good point. Sometimes you forget to slow things down and appreciate what you have. This current Bills regime is the cream of the NFL. Right up there with other respectable franchises suck as the Ravens, Steelers, Packers. Other teams are using the Bills model as the standard. 3 Quote

Pete Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 its rare in all sports when a team is likeable to NFL fans, there are always haters. And winning brings more haters. But for this brief moment in time, I think most of the country cheers for the Bills and likes Bills Mafia. How can a football fan not love the way Josh Allen plays? 3 2 1 Quote
TFBillsfan Posted April 1, 2022 Author Posted April 1, 2022 Just now, Pete said: its rare in all sports when a team is likeable to NFL fans, there are always haters. And winning brings more haters. But for this brief moment in time, I think most of the country cheers for the Bills and likes Bills Mafia. How can a football fan not love the way Josh Allen plays? This is such a great point. I live in Atlanta and it’s such a great feeling seeing the elementary kids wearing Josh Allen jerseys because it’s cool or when I’m out wearing Bills gear how many non Bills fans say we are rooting for you to win the SB. Step back in time and the vast majority of the comments were how can you be a Bills fan. 2 Quote

This is partly why I (selfishly) don't want Allen to be in national commercials and such. People love the "underdog", and while I don't think the bills are underdogs by any means, I like that I don't see Allen in a commercial every 2 minutes like I do baker Mayfield. I like that our team is just a football team. Nothing flashy. I love the coverage we get now, but I don't want my beloved bills becoming so saturated that people start to hate us. Again, this is all me speaking selfishly, but I think most understand what I mean 2 Quote
T&C Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Haven't had the baby delivered yet... we've screwed ourselves the last 4 years. Fun times for sure but no satisfaction. 3 Quote

He's either going to be extended this offseason or they'll wait until next offseason to make the decision. They aren't trading him and they aren't drafting his replacement this season. Beane has outwardly said he disagrees with his detractors and McDermott has never wavered his faith in him. Quote
WotAGuy Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Agree with OP. This is the best team and front office combined that the Bills have ever had since I started paying attention in 1968, including the Super Bowl years. Josh is by far the best Bills’ player ever. Great time to be a Bills fan. 2 Quote

It amazes me how majority of the people think he's terrible, and we should trade him, he has value I hear and we're going to maybe get a 2nd rounder for him or more some think! It's just the scheme here doesn't fit him, but he's worth alot! 1 Quote

Still think there's a chance we find a sucker to take him and that salary off our hands. Gotta agree we have alot to be excited about. Quote

I guess we’re all going to find out. Or we won't. IF he gets traded, then yes will find out what he's worth, but if he doesn't then never know. Is it because the Bills value him highly so never trade him or because no team wanted to give anything more than maybe a 5th rounder so Bills Declined. Quote

The Bills also get to tell us what he’s worth. They aren’t force to keep him. Every single player that leaves, leaves because the Bills didn’t think they were worth it. Quote
