I just want our offense to be versatile. The ideal offense would have a route running specialist, an explosive downfield playmaker, and a steady chain mover. We have the route runner and the chain mover. I want the explosive player. I don't see Olave as that type of player. He would be a very safe pick at 25. I wouldn't hate it but I'd wonder how much upside is there and if he'll add anything new to our offense. Quote

Like Woolen too, raw but ridiculous athleticism. Maybe we sign a veteran CB and draft Woolen with the acquired early 3rd. With the 2nd rounder, take the best guy on your board (RB if Hall or the kid from Mich St drop). I was Breece Hall until I started watching Walker more. The kid has unreal vision. lateral movement, busrt and instincts. 1 Quote

I evaluate receivers primarily by two traits - do they get open (Olave does that better than anyone in the class), and do they catch the ball. I love a size and speed combo wideout as much as anyone but they still have to get judged by the same standard. Get open, catch the ball. Olave would add speed, he would add separation and he would mean even when a team takes Diggs away there is always someone open for Josh to throw the ball to. He'd be an excellent pick. 2 Quote
Ralonzo Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 I’ve been warming up to Watson. The physical dominance of a Chase Claypool while still being a Process guy. 3 Quote

I don't think he's there at pick 25. The Bills will have to move up to get him. I think there will be several very good choices for the Bills in the 1st and 2nd round. 1 Quote

Olave is my favorite (100% healthy) WR in this Draft...I think it will take a trade up though... 2 Quote

The players I really like in this draft are Walker, Watson, Kyler Gordon, Tiraq Woolen, Troy Anderson, Tyquan Thorton and Alontae Taylor…where we are drafting and beyond 1 Quote
Ralonzo Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Like Watson, Woolen popped to me watching the combine drills. Raw, but elite traits - a Bills calling card of late. 1 Quote

An average RB on a great team can be impactful… even a below average RB can seem average in a great offense. But put a great RB in a great offense and he can be sensational and take you over the top. 1billsfan Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Treylon Burks looks like he'll be a beast in the NFL. Dude can do it all. His style of play and size reminds me of Terrell Owens. I'm hoping that he's the WR they're targeting in the first round. 2 Quote

John from Riverside Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 There are several on that list that could find a home for the bills I mainly talk about Olave or Jameson because they could realistically be there at 25 but guys like Metchie would be had later. 1 Quote

So the Bills wouldn’t be a better team with Derrick Henry or Jonathan Taylor? A month or so ago there was a lot of excitement here with the rumor of trading for Christian McCafferry… posters were saying our offense would be unstoppable. Quote
