It's not accurate as to whether he was on the injury report.

It only shows if the player has a "gametime designation" such as "questionable"

 

And, I've found numerous inaccuracies and omissions.   A relatively inaccurate part of an overall great site.

 

It also doesn't show Covid list absences.

If Beasley was declining since 2019, how come 2020 was his best year as a pro by like, IDK, every metric?

He was receiving a lot of targets Hap.  He was tough and tried to play through his injuries.  I didn’t say 2019, as he Brown were godsends, when Josh needed it.

 

I could care less about his off the field comments.  Vacc, not Vacc, whatever.  It’s my opinion as you have you’re own he was not worth $6 mil. When we extended McKenzie.  I like our chances with Diggs, Davis, McKenzie, and now Crowder.

 

I think we used our $ wisely this off season.  It’s too bad we didn’t have him earlier in his career.

 

Its likely we take with a CB in the first or second round, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we take a WR with the other pick.  I could see us G in the third.  I hope we have a punter with our last pick.

Was injured vs Fins on Halloween.  On injury report vs Jags 11/7 game.  He played then and vs Jets and Colts.  3 weeks, 14 catches, 70 total yds, 5 YPR and 0 TDS.  Only 29 yds after catch in those 3 games or 2 yds per catch,

 

Not surprisingly, Bills lost 2 of those games

If that be the case if healthy he would have been one of the higher targeted WR again & they let him walk i just hope Crowder can live up to what Bease brought to the game he was usually money on every throw & if they needed a first down he was the guy .

Receiving more targets is another indication of good play. 2020 was his best year. Period. It's not true that he had been regressing since 2019.

 

I will agree that he has had two years of injury issues, though.

Beasley will always have a place in Buffalo history. But you couldn't ignore his age, injuries or lack of YAC these last 2 years.  We did the right thing keeping Lil Dirty as a potential replacement. And I'm sure we'll draft a speed slot guy to continue improving.

Like everyone, Beasley had his good and bad characteristics.   

 

I loved his talent. 

 

I thought his vaccine take was selfish.  

 

I'll remember him as a warrior.

Very close to the same number of targets in 2019, 2020, and 2021.  106, 107, 112.  For 778, 967, 693 yards

 

I'm confused by "didn't say 2019", thought it was your post about Beasley "declining since 2019"  I responded to asking: how, if he's been declining since 2019, he had his best year as a pro by almost any WR metric in 2020.

 

Beasley made strong contributions and was important to the team the last 3 years, and I agree that it was sadly, time for the team to move on.

Perhaps some people were too busy letting 'other things' shade their evaluation of him?

That said his injuries were adding up and efficiency started to drop, so I understand the move on from him.

 

He could still help quite a few NFL teams. I could see him in GB with A Rod, they could use WR help, and he had higher output than MVS.

He and A Rod share some values and ideas too, so there is some mesh there.

I could stomach that better then the Pats or Chiefs.
