DCofNC Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Simple solution, score more than the other team in regulation. And don’t let them move all the way down the field in 13 seconds. 2 1 3 Quote

Milanos Milano Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 (edited) Josh Allen now has officially upgraded to goat tier. He now is what is known as a rule bender. He’s in good company. Edited March 29, 2022 by IronMaidenBills 1 Quote

This was a much needed change. There is have both teams have to go for 2pt conversions if they score and whichever team blinks first loses. Quote

Still don't like it but its better than what it was. Coin flip winner still gets 2 opportunities to score on offense and 1 opportunity to defend Coin flip loser gets 1 opportunity to score on offsense and 2 opportunities to defend Which would you rather have? 1 Quote

Charles Romes Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 I don’t know a lot of Bills fans that think we lost because of the unfair OT rules. But most of the world thinks that way. 2 3 Quote
Nextmanup Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 I said the rule was ridiculous and needed to change, and that I thought it well might change after our game this year. And then a horde of responders laughed and said "sore loser" and so on... Well, they changed it. Told you so... 1 Quote

Buffalo_Stampede Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Anyone remember the Tampa game? Josh and the Bills offense was in the zone heading to OT. They won the toss went 3 and out. Tampa won on the next possession. Quote
TheFunPolice Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Based on these new rules the coin toss winner in OT kicks every time 1 Quote
Wyobills89 Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 I personally would rather just tack on an extra 10 min quarter or something along those lines for post season. Keep reg season same. 2 1 Quote
MJS Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Ok. Whatever. It's honestly no different. The defense still has to make a stop at some point. 1 Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Still don’t understand why they don’t just put 10 minutes on the clock and play it out. 1 2 Quote

You want that third possession, so you take the ball first. 1 Quote
eball Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Oh, some of the responses in this thread are clueless. It's a good change, and yes, as long as there is a coin toss at the start of a game or the start of OT it will play a role in determining strategy, if not the outcome -- which is not the point. Lots of things can happen but giving each team a possession is the right thing to do. 1 Quote
