McDermot is also interesting.

More coach-speak.  Beane is more personal.  He’s a polar opposite of Whaley.

I want to sit down with Beane, have a beer and talk about anything. Just seems like a great dude to shoot the breeze with.

I don’t trust McD...always seems like he’s hiding something, when he speaks...

Beane seems more like a straight shooter...

Beane has the ability to say nothing when talking a lot.

McD had the ability of saying a lot while talking about nothing.

If I was in McD's position, I wouldn't be particularly open either.

One of the goals of a HC is to develop relationships with the team (players, coaches) that brings out the best in people.  Publicly dissing people damages those relationships.  You have to be circumspect.

Coach made a comment about being happy to have Matt "and his family" back (2:20ish). This made me think of a comment in another thread about Matt's wife being the party planner and how something seemed a little off last year without them. Makes me think there's probably something to this, or rather "something" (more than just football) was missing last year. Yes, losing Tre and 13 seconds and all of that etc. etc. Same with bringing Shaq and Jordan back, they aren't world beaters but they definitely add "juice" to a team that probably could have used a little more at the end last year.

Good interviews, Go Bills!

All, and I do mean all, HCs have to keep things secret, it’s just part of their jobs, it’s the endless need to have an edge come game day, where as a GMs job / intentions is made obvious with every acquisition or release, jmo, that and it seems like Sean doesn’t like having “to much fun” that might be why you get that vibe. 😁👍

It seemed like there were a number of times during games where our Offense was struggling that Josh was just sitting on the bench by himself with no one to talk to, even though Mitch was kinda around. Previously, Barkley was always there with Josh. It may just be a coincidental observation and actually mean nothing, but I'm happy to have Matt back around for Josh's sake.

Really enjoyed those long interviews. Thank you for posting them!

I think Sean did a good job and was interesting to listen to. I thought he gave some good insight and I laughed when he was talking about Gabe’s minivan and hearing Shaq coming down the hallway.

What was the topic around the 12:00 mark where Sean said it was an isolated incident?
