I believe that if the Bills want to set a standard for excellence on and off the field then they should not sign any players charged for domestic violence. I didn't like the idea of re-signing Dodson either, but I think the front office predicted that there wouldn't be much negative press over a guy at the bottom of the roster.

Honestly, I absolutely without question would.  I never get why fans are always so against bringing a guy to camp.

Bring him in, he is an easy cut if there isn't something there.  But he has great potential to be a big upgrade to Moss at the very least.  He wont cost much, and could be a great compliment to Devin if he works out.

I mean, to me, this is a no brainer easy cheap add for competition at the RB spot.  I would take the unknown version of him 100 times over Duke Johnson.

Isnt he up on murder or rape charges? You really think bringing in a guy like that is a good idea?

3 separate domestics against his gf but settled out of court, 2 rapes, third case of him taking a nude pic of a girl without her consent and then sexually harassing a 74 year old lady.

Having the charges dropped and being proven innocent aren’t even close to being the same thing, especially for professional athletes

I already corrected the post.  I just wrote originally what my buddy said about him, it was inaccurate I realized when I googled it after.  Charges were dropped after settlement reached, big difference than "being proven innocent".  My friend is an LSU fan as he went there and been advocating for Guice to the Cardinals (his fave NFL team) to replace Edmunds.  So I took his info as more accurate than it was lol.  My bad

I already corrected it before you replied.

I deleted my original post that was in favor of bringing him in because I had inaccurate info from a friend who told me he was both cleared and proven innocent of his off field stuff.  Wasn't true, settling is not being proven innocent.  My buddy went to LSU and was a big fan of his, so he had a skewed point of view lol.

So I withdraw my original statements which were made off incomplete info.  Im a pass on Guice, we have enough bad "Juice" in our historical fridge here lol.

Is anyone ever "proven innocent"? A person accused is either found guilty, charges are dropped or he's found not guilty. Basically if you are charged you're are *****.

Settling and being proven innocent (nobody is proven innocent btw) are different legal concepts from different legal systems. You can't settle a criminal case and you can't be proven guilty in a civil case.

I make clear I know absolutely nothing about Guice's legal history. I never followed that story. But he deserves a presumption of innocence pending a finding to the alternative the same as anyone else. Even if he is a scumbag.
