KHAN Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 We've spent 2 decade trying to find enough wins if "everything goes well" that could get us to the playoffs. It's a tough mindset to get past. New England and Miami pose a reasonable threat in an any given Sunday kind of way. But we're at the "we don't worry about them, they worry about us" phase. If the Bills play well, they should win every week. Of course that's not how it will play out. But as amazing as winning a Super Bowl would be, looking forward to every game knowing we are a legit contender, and we'll likely see some amazing things is everything. Quote
MJS Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 The Bills aren't going to sweep Miami for the rest of time. At some point, Miami is going to beat the Bills once. Maybe it's this year, maybe it's not. But the Bills are the better team by far at this point. Quote

What will Tua's great improvement look like when he is on his backside all game? Bills pash rush wasn't an issue last year against the Dolphins, in fact both Rouseau and Epenesa had their career best games against them last year. Again, I think what's missing in the discussion is that eventually the Dolphins will figure out a way to beat the Bills and 2022 will provide their best chance yet under a new HC and revamped roster. All the ingredients are there for the dolphins to take another step in 2022 and win 11+ games which puts even more pressure on McDermott and this team to be consistent from opening day until the end of the season to ensure they win a 3rd consecutive division title (and guarantee themselves a playoff spot). Definitely can't take the middle of season off again and go through another 3-5 type of stretch. 1 Quote

Not to mention and entirely different blocking scheme and offensive play caller. Quote
